Tell us something you LIKE about the new changes!!
Please DON'T use this thread to point out issues you don't like or bugs you are experiencing. There are plenty of other appropriate places to do that. I'd really like to encourage Nate with some lists of things that we LIKE and APPRECIATE about the upgrade!! :D

-- I noticed that our little URL tab (not sure what that little icon is called) has been changed from a very outdated logo design to our new awesome abstract snake head that is in our current logo. LOVE IT!!

-- I love the overall crisp look of the site!

-- The "Projects" tab at the top makes it very easy for members (and staff!) to report technical problems or issues that need to be addressed. And easier for the admins to track such tasks.

-- Our new logo/banner at the top of the page is awesome!

-- I like that my "Friends" list only shows those who are online....rather than the entire list of offline folk. That was getting rather long! :D

That's just a small list off the top of my head. What do Y'ALL like? :sunny:

    • I really like that the quick reply is always open at the bottom
    • Also like the look of the quote in a thread
    • Tappatalk is very sweet

Quick reply is quicker than ever.
    Chat button is right there.
The standard grey/dull blue is very easy on my eyes. I might not even look at themes, I like this so much!
The way to post a pic in the thread seems easier to me, and I don't have to click the "enable something technical and scary sounding if you want to share a pic on here" button thingy that popped up before. Now it's copy/paste the URL and it's ready to go.
The picture threads seem like they might be loading faster for me.
Chat "timing out" is entertaining me greatly. No, I'm serious, I think it's fun. Plus it saves wear and tear refreshing uselessly if someone isn't using it, so that's even better.

I just love the overall layout! This is coming from a user who wasn't around to use the old layout much, but I find that the website runs just fine on whatever browser I'm using, looks better, and is set up in a way that is MUCH less confusing than before. I was able to navigate before due to using old forums elsewhere, but it was irritating and frustrating. I understand everyone's challenges in dealing with change, I suppose I'm just lucky I came as late as I did :D

All in all, GOOD JOB NATE!

I got the tapatalk app for my iphone, it's cool but I still browsing the site because of the new look. I like this reply box, I like the "double quote" reply option, I like the fresh clean look of the site, it's up-to-date, I like how the home page tells how many new posts there are. I'm a fan of anything being updated! haha :D

I think you guys are spoiled with Nate around! haha :P Not sure if every forum website has someone capable of doing what he's doing, but when he's gone, who's going to look after it than:confused::confuzd:

I think it's great having Nate around, but it appears he's leaving. Nate, you did a great job. Always replying to peoples concerns with the site, and everytime I visit, the person issue is taken care of!

I also like the little icon that shows if you've replied to a thread or not.

    • I'll have to agree on the crisp new look. Really sets things apart from other forums.
    • Chat is cool, just wish that people would talk to me :P I also like the chat history, didn't know if that was there before.
    • I love that Nate fixed the gallery login/domain thing. For me, it was a hassle to look at peoples gallery images. Now it's fluid.
    • I liked how the quick reply worked before the box was put on the bottom, but I like the box anyway. I also like that you guys don't require us to hit the reply button on a post to use the quick reply feature.
    • FaceBook Connect! WOOT Highly underrated.

I love the new look and lay out of the site. Once again Nate has proven himself invaluable to us.

I find it much easier to read and navigate.

I am still learning the lay out and I am sure I will have many more great things to say. BTW what is tapatalk?

Integrated Facebook!!!! That gets a big ol thumbs up!

Tapatalk is an app for Android and iPhone. It allows you to view, reply, post and send/read PMs from your phone. It's much faster than loading the full site and better (nicer) than most mobile sites...and there are a TON of forums that use it. Android also has a widget, iPhone does not.

Overall I really like it a lot. It's more streamlined and much more "modern" feeling than before. My only complaint is the colors are hard to read. The light blue on the pale grey background when reading thread titles, etc doesn't provide enough contrast IMO.

I love the new Theme, much easier on the eyes.
I love that it's connected to Facebook.
The new Control Panel is nice as well.
It's over all sleeker, smoother and has a very professional look and feel to it.

Re: Tell us something you LIKE about the new changes!!
I like logging in at the very top of the page and the quick presentation of the horizontal menu bar for New Posts, Private Messages... I spend a lot less time hunting for what I'm trying to find (maybe I'm just finally catching on).

I also like the speedy, easy access to my gallery---reminds me I have some serious updating to do.

Really enjoying the Bruise theme

    Many thanks.

This might sound rather silly, but as a "grammar nazi" it's something that used to tick me OFF... the old format would automatically capitalize the next letter after a period, even if you were using "etc." or "..." in the middle of a sentence. The new upgrade fixed that little quirk, so my sentences now look perfectly capitalized. LOL :gj:
