Annnnd we're back!

Well that wasn't too bad. No major snags...except I ran out of energy drinks.

If you notice any bugs or problems...or just want to suggest some feedback to make things easier, please submit it in our new nifty little Project tracker :)

This was a pretty massive upgrade - there was A LOT to do. And there still is a lot to finish up. But for me, it's 6am - and I'm tired! So I've got enough done so that at least the forum is back open for business.

We will continue adding in some goodies over the next few days, and we will happily listen to some constructive criticism if you have some!

Great Job. First off Thank You for maintaining the website for us to enjoy. The only complaint I have is, Can you reduce the "HOLY GOD ITS BRIGHT WHITE" when your browsing/replying/posting a thread. I think the contrast/brightness is a bit high. My eyes are hurting from typing this. Other than that, a really really nice job.

Yeah - I certainly do see what you're saying. I'm trying to get it as close as possible to what we had prior to the upgrade, which was pretty easy to read...contrasted nicely.

Now that I'm scrolling over loads of text and pages - I'm gettin a headache, so I'll definitely work on it!

Yes and No

Yes it's away right now because Nate wanted to turn the forums back on so everyone could be back up - while he still worked on some other background stuff that didn't require the forums to be turned off.

As far as I know - we plan to continue to keep the chat, but I don't know when it will be back up. Nate should be getting some well deserved sleep right now for pulling that all nighter!

Great work! I like it! My only complaint is that it's really, really bright compared to the old layout.

Thanks for the explanation. Not to be a whiny butt or anything, but I notice the emotes and canned replies have been dropped as well. While I wait patiently, I will keep myself busy by going in search of my signature pic... :D

The other question I had was about photos in the Gallery. I cant seem to get the [IMG] codes to show up for linking into threads...

Folks, I know it's different...and much tweaking is needed yet. I'll get onto the color scheme ASAP today to get it back to our more muted hues.

The emotes are still there in the database...if you know the code for it, you can type it in. OR...there is a button under the reply box called "Go Advanced". That will take you to a new box that looks pretty similar to what you're used to seeing, with all the emotes and everything. At the moment, it's just a "quick reply" box that is showing up as default. I'm sure that's one of many tweaks we'll be working on.

Yeah there are some tight deadlines for events on the horizon and I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted on getting this new theme created and tweaked, but I will be going back over it all week making some adjustments so it's not so bright.

The Chatbox is on its way back, among other things. We're even getting some new goodies rolled out, but I won't spoil the surprise just yet :D

Looks good, though a little bright for my eyes right now. :D

Looks good but a minor bug. for what ever reason i lack the permissions to edit my own images. i uploaded a few to the gallery part of my profile and then went to edit them later on and it says i cant.

It looks great, it'll take a while to get used to but I've already noticed a huge speed increase (at least for me) I miss my Earthtastic though, do we still have themes?

We will start to add themes again - Earthtastic and Rustaculous were my personal favorites. Unfortunately, the themes in the old environment were not compatible with this upgrade. But it is on our list of things to do - so just hang in there a bit and we'll get some more choices available.

Hmm - I'm replying to this from my iPhone right now (not tapatalk). Using safari. What errors are you seeing?

It almost let's me log in but the moment I hit the log in button my password disappears and it goes back to the log in page.

AFTER that happens...go ahead and click on the "Home" button...and you'll be logged in. This happens in Firefox as well, and another iphone user saw the same thing.

Is there a new thing where when I hit "new posts" it is dividing the new posts by forum? Instead of listing all of them by newest posted?
