Ideas for a Sweet 16?

My sixteenth birthday is coming up and I need to start thinking of what I want to do. My family is pretty tight for money so I need to find something that is fun and wallet-friendly. I'm not into big to-do's anyways, and I have no idea what would be fun for me and a few friends. Ideas?

visit a zoo!! or aquarium/sea world... something animal-y, haha!

16...hmmm...I was thinking about a bar, but thats 18 in canadia right? I have a few friends in canada so I dont know all the laws. but you could have a...JUMP HOUSE! heck im 21 and was playing in a bounce house at my works bbq a couple weeks ago. haha. just a thoguht :D

I stopped having birthday parties when I was 14, I didn't see the point of them.

Well there's always tattoos. Nothing says fun with friends like everyone getting fresh ink. I dunno what teens do for fun nowadays. When I turned 16 we played paintball and got drunk.

This is my first birthday party since I was 10, but my friends are pressuring me into celebrating the "big" ones (I don't really see why turning 16 is important, but anyways...)

Yeah, I was thinking of getting one for the occasion, but my parents and I don't quite see eye to eye on body art, so I'm gonna have to wait until they stop acting suspicious to go and get one without them...

Watch that show "My Super Sweet 16" on MTV. Some great ideas there...

EVERY 16 year old needs a brand new BMW, Mercedes, or Lexus. Otherwise they just wouldn't be popular. And zomgaaaa that's the end of the road right there.

Just pickin on ya...well, more like jabbing at the spoiled rotten kids these days.

Just throw a party at your place and invite your friends out. I'd so do the bouncy house...even at 25. That's just awesome.

Ahahaha I know! I watch that show and I think "Oh my God, who the hell needs all that?"

It's pretty shocking. (I'm pretty anit-materialistic lol. If you've ever seen the movie Into the Wild, that could end up being me one day, minus the poisonous plants part)

i cant speak of what i did for my 16th because of TOS rules... but let your mind run wild :D

I wanted to do a masquerade theme, and instead of buying party favors, you could just have everyone make a masquerade mask. Unfortunately I turned 16 last December, and it just never happened because life got in the way. I might turn it into a Sweet 17, or I might ask my parents for another snake instead. Not really sure yet.
