    Gravid female..can you feel eggs?
My pied female in my opinion ovulated..she went on to shed, she is swollen & lies inverted belly up quite often..I am assuming she is gravid, she has a large bump but I dont feel anything, might be me..do you actually feel eggs at this stage?..she is quite reluctant to move her lower bodyhttps://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...002_648887.jpg

    Follicles (pre-ovulation) you can feel.
    Eggs (post-ovulation) you cannot feel.

Once they ovulate the follicles turn into soft eggs that you cant feel

Save up for one. I do this weekly out of each paycheck to buy the next thing that pops up at me.

Sure you can! But closer to the lay date. I almost never feel them immediately after ovulation, but 2 weeks and closer to lay date - you absolutely can feel them (and count them).

I always get my most accurate count of eggs AFTER ovulation.

You can also seem them move in the snake - if you hold her up with her tail towards the ground, then gently shift her so her head it toward the ground, you can see them move in either direction.

I have just had to move her to clean..she feels quite soft but swollen, its only 8 days after her shed but panicked as I thought she would have hard egg shaped lumps..

No - they won't be hard - they will be soft - almost like feeling distinct marshmallows - but you probably won't feel them this close after ovulation.

Yep. You can definitely feel them as the get closer to the lay date. You can usually tell if you have slugs as well.

depending on how far along she is....if you hold her up and allow her to relax to completely extended her herself down you can actually count how many eggs she has inside her. every wave on the belly you see will be an egg....if you see a large space between the waves it's usually a slug.
