Tragedy

I have awful news. I'm pretty lost right now and can't even think straight but I need to get this off my chest.

As we can see, I have a beautiful little Colombian Red Tail Boa that I absolutely adore by the name of Rosie, along with some other herps. Well, I'm in the process of moving and my new apartment is a good hour south of where I have been living. That being said my pets have been back at my old apartment and my old roommate has been watching them while I get everything sorted out. Well, apparently he fell ill and was not at the apartment for a week and neglected to let me know this was happening and that he wouldn't be watching my pets, even though he said he would. And now, I am a beautiful colombian boa short. She died sometime within the last three days, I'm sure from it getting too hot. I'm completely devastated and I want to wring his neck. Its not even that essentially $150 just died, its that my little Green Bean is gone. Thank god the others are fine and I now have them with me again.

And this is why, my herps will never be away from me ever again, and I will never trust anyone with them again. :mad:

sorry for ur loss :( its such a shame that u cnt rely on someone to something as little as that when they say they will!

Yeah it really sucks. I guess this means I'll have space for a new snake in October when that reptile show comes around.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss. It's very difficult to lose something you've grown to love and be very attached to, whether it is a dog, cat, bird or....yes....even a snake. You have my deepest condolences and I hope that you will be able to find some measure of peace in the days to come. Rest in peace, little Rosie, you will be missed.

She wouldn't hold her food down...we new she was gonnna be hard to keep cause those type of boa are hard to get started but we did our best. Looking for a suriname or guyana to replace her.

Sorry for your loss, way to manytimes do people hace stories trusting someone to take carw of their herps and somehow those ppl always mess something up or fare irresponsiblr.
