Havre de Grace Show next weekend

I'm from MD....Where is this located?

LoL, nevermind....stupid question....Just googled..

Every Havre de Grace is scheduled on a Saturday that I have to work and we can't take vacation on Saturdays :tears:
I'm planning to go to Hamburg tomorrow, though :banana:

mot gonigo t either this time ( Havre De Grace or hamburg) I made other plans, plus I still trying to get these normals and pastels to eat for me. and my pied clutch to shed.

If I was going I have to bum a ride with brunoheart ( and clan ) to hamburg since I doubt I could get there on my own lol.

You are welcome to come to Hamburg with us tomorrow, but you would have to be able to get Dover by 5:45am. I am leaving here at 6am cause I hear parking can be a pain if you're not there early (although, they apparently have a new parking lot we'll have access to and a shuttle running from the lot to the field house). I gotta go get rat pups for my two new girls and hoping to buy a UTH for my QT tub and possibly a thermostat for the QT tub as well (have a rheostat in case I can't find a thermostat there). No snakes this trip, have to get my girls paid off and home before I get any more...

I just moved down to Baltimore from Boston a few weeks ago so this will be my first trip to Havre de Grace.

My fiance would kill me if I came home with another snake, but is there usually someone there selling frozen feeders?

From what I understand, there are usually frozen feeders available there. Welcome to the area!

lol brunoheart I would but I doubt I can even have my brain working at that hour let alone drive to dover ( if I was not going to NJ next weekend I go )

We're going. Need to stock up on feeder insects and get a couple of packs of frozen feeder rodents for some new snakes and snakes that have grown a bit.

Hope there's a decent vendor turnout...I should have a pocket full of cash by then! :D

Is this show worth a 2 1/2 hour drive?

When you enter the hall, look in the left far corner. He will be set up there. He will have a small freezer and 3 tables full of snakes.

Rick is top notch, tell him Jim Smith recommended him.

Be careful. there have been a dealer there a few times that comes in with frozen rodents, but they are just sitting out on the table. They atrat to thaw as soon as the guy sets up his table.

Rick is the only guy there I trust.

If you have no other option in your area, I would drive. but it's not anywhere near the size of Hamburg. It's held in a hall the size of a middle school's gym. Usually have about 5-7 really good vendors and can have anywhere from 3-5 back yard breeders. A couple of lizard breeders (leopard and beardies), a few supply vendors and a couple of "once in a while" vendors.

If you've got nothing better to do or you don't have any reptile expos in your area, I'd make the trip. If you have something in your area, it's probably just like what you have in your area.

I've always gone to every show at least once. You don't know what it's like until you go.

I may be there tomorrow. I just had another heart cath today and I'm not suppose to drive for 48 hours. Maybe my daughter will drive me to the show, or I'll disobey the doctor's orders and drive myself.

A bleeding femoral artery can't stop me from making the show! ;)

hope every hada fun show I spent the weekend with a friend in NJ and what not too hot to do much( not that I was up to much ) but it was fun and worth missing the reptile show(not that i had funds to go lol)

Sorry I didn't make it to the show. Doctore said I couldn't drive nor should I be walking around for 48-72 hours after the procedure.

However I do have another show to talk about. I'll post the infomration in another thread.
