If not the USA where would you want to live?

Why would you want to live there also?

Im not in the US.

Im in London. But I would most likely want to live somewhere over there. Somewhere like NY or florida I guess. I would because I guess it would be different, but not to different.

I'd like to move back to Jamaica

tokyo if it wasnt sooo cold. i'm to cold in georgia. i wouldnt want to live anywhere colder than here,

I'm happy living in Canada. :P But a nice visit to Australia would be nice... But I couldn't live anywhere else other then "home".

Yeah, Tokyo would be too cold. Tokyo is like NYC.

I wouldn't mind going back to the Philippines to live. I love the year-round tropical weather, the beaches, and most especially, the maids!

i would have to say Australia if i had the money to move there right now i would its beautiful there and so is the wildlife im planing a trip for about a year maybe 2 from now to go scuba diving at the great barrier reef should be amazing

Canada. Probably Ottawa. It's be nice to be somewhere where people liked hockey as much as me.


Thailand would be cool to visit. But all the bugs and poverty would keep me from wanting to live there. Unless I was Rambo


France would be a good choice to. I like France.

Of all the Carribean Islands, Jamaica would have to be near the bottom of the list...Ft de France Martinique is awesome...Curacao Netherland Antilles rocks too...

Well I would move just because there is Soooo much to see out side the US! If I wasn't taking climate into the equation then Germany sounds pretty good.But I would consider the climate so I would have to move somwhere warm.I'm thinking Austraillia or an island somewhere in the Carribean would be nice.

As you can tell I'm not from the states, but I don't think I would ever want to live anywhere other than Canada. :D

But if I had to choose, it would have to be cool. I can't stand the heat!

I love the states...but if I had to choose it would be Northern Italy...second choice out in the country in Ireland...

I would want to live in Ireland. I have seen pictures and it is just gorgeous. I would love to have a house there out in the middle of no where.

Im from South Africa and i love it here, but if i was forced to go anywhere else it would be japan, i would love to live in a mountain cottage somewhere over there.

I'm from the USA, born and bred, but I did live in Canada for a number of years. My ex and our dual-citizenship son still live there, so I cross the border to see my kiddo as often as I can...and I will admit, Canada is pretty decent.

Then again I'd like to try living in Ireland for a while to see if it'd suit me. :)

I'd find a nice uninhabited island in the south pacific and live Swiss Family Robinson style......the sun and beach, live off the land, and lots of critters to collect and observe :D

I would not leave unless forced to. But having said that Scotland would be my first choice. A nice cottage overlooking some loch somewhere. You know a nice quaint village.
Second choice would be Romania, somewhere near Brashov in Transylvania because I have many friends that live in the country, and living is cheap.

I would also have to take my own island... Or a Caribbean island, or jamaica! But really... the only reason I would move would be because I think we have a bunch of stupid laws. And alot of stupid people.... Some of which help make stupid laws!!! :banana:

Well said. I'd love to move to Canada. I went to Toronto a few years back and LOVED it. I can't stand living in a country where everyone in the world hates you simply because of the government's actions. Canada doesn't bother anybody....that's the way it should be.

Deutschland - it'd probably only take me a short while to be fluent in the language (I used to speak German, but have very much lost my vocabulary through lack of use), 4 weeks of vacation is standard there, there's so much good beer to try, and as an added bonus, I've always been curious what it's like to drive on the Autobahn...

I really enjoy visiting Scotland, Edinburgh in particular. Always end up staying in Glasgow because of the group I travel with, but it's very fun! Hoping to return next summer. Have been there 4 times now.

Ive been to some pretty cool places...if I absoultely had to move, I would say Australia. Spent a little bit of time down there on a few occasions and it was really nice. I really like the north tip up in the Darwin area...crocs and other reptiles everywhere!

All that said though, now where I have ever been quite compares to living in our good old states:salute:.

Canada, or Japan if I can kick myself hard enough to really learn Japanese (and not just try figuring out what's being said in Japanese episodes of Sonic X).

I really want to move out of the US after college to see what else is out in the world. Your only on the Earth once and might as well explore it. I wouldnt mind British Columbia in Canada, lots of fun stuff there :D.... also somewhere in brazil on the coast :) that would be amazing. Amazing animals and breath taking scenery. But a few downsides of Brazil such as non advanced mdical care in areas. Bora Bora is pretty epic place. Maybe German countryside... I want to be around nature but still have things such as up to date medical care!

Well I'm in Canada right now, but I'm more than likely going to end up moving to the U.S. in a few years (either Arizona or Oregon. I know, polar opposites lol) but I'd love to live in Ireland too...

My choices are all islands that I have previously been to...

-Palma de Mallorca
-Crete
-Phuket, Thailand
-Okinawa
-Marshall Islands

It's a toss-up between London and Amsterdam... I've been to both (more than once), and just love the "vibe" in each of those cities. I'd also be comfortable in their Pacific NW-ish weather, plus they seem to have a grip on certain legal/political issues. ;)

I really love the Pacific Northwest, and will probably end up dying here, but I'd love to live in Norway and/or Iceland for a few years, pick up some of that old Norse I knew as a kid xD
