Ghost Pied request! Where are you!!??

Hey There, I'm trying to find picture's of ghost pied's.
So far I only heard seen two specimens online so far.. The baby at kahls place.. and BHB's adult.

I noticed the adult video was filmed in 2008, THERE HAS TO BE MORE OUT THERE!!!
If you heard of anyone that has hets or projects going I'd be very happy to hear about any input as I have a DH ghost pied male and just can't wait to see more examples.

The luecistic in that pic is actually a lesser pied. ;)

Also, that photo is courtesy of Exotics by Nature, and was taken by Celia Chien. Dom, you should really give credit to the owner of the pic.

It's funny how that's such a pet peeve in this biz. Everyone needs to have credit. You don't see it with other pics of things in the world. The snake books and reptile mag articles are comical. Does anybody know how old the pieds in that pic are? There's some nice orange on the ghost pied, and usually the high-color pieds brown out as they get older--it'd be great if the ghosts got around that.

Now stealing pics to try and make a profit or using them as your own is a whole different thing. :taz:

Do you know how many times BG has seen his snakes in pics on forums on the net? BG could probably find about 10 on this forum alone. There was no credit given and the all mighty one never complained(or maybe he just forgot he did).:D

Anyway...BG doesn't really want to make a big deal outta it. BG just finds it amusing when you read any book or mag article with snake pics.

Back on track, Yes this is why I'm reaching everywhere to find whoever is breeding these and if there are anymore than these 2-3.

Besides the cow look-a-like potential of the panda pieds.. I really believe ghost pied is the next best looking and great crossing potential.

Nonetheless please more pics & info!

Just hatched a double het pied/ghost female. Only one egg from a pied x ghost glad it is a female. Pied ghost are awsome.

Maybe a little bit more professional courtesy is what is needed in this "biz". I am glad that it is comical for you, but I could say where this industry/hobby could definitely use a bit more credit where it is due, professional courtesy and honor. Heck it might make for a more enjoyable hobby/business.

That picture was taken in 2008 at the NARBC Tinley show. That would make them about 2 years old.

Copyright laws and plagiarism are taken very serious in every business. I don't see why we should be any more lenient because most of us are hobbyist. Where do you not see it being taken seriously?
