My one Little Egg

So, I was in the snake room a minute ago, battening down the hatches before I leave for a few days, making sure everything was ok.

I decided to add some more water to the dish at the bottom of my incubator because I'm paranoid and I don't trust my boyfriend to do it :P

Since I was in there, I decided to candle Little Egg (as we've affectionately named it since it's the only one haha) and he or she was wiggling up a STORM in there!!!!!

The head or tail (looked like a tail, but who knows at this stage, day 15) swiped RIGHT by the edge of the egg!! :O :O

I swear it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen! It's amazing to see how much something can grow in such a small time period!

Anyway, just thought I'd share!! Thanks for readin!

Good luck!! I only had one good egg out of 5, but I'm still absolutely STOKED!! Especially being able to see the growth stages. It's awesome!

That's awesome! I got two possibly three females ready for this year so I hope I get my first clutch of eggs!

I don't know why but I think it's really weird having just one egg inside an incubator... :rolleye2:

But yeah! Go eggy! I wanna see you hatch out! Betcha are gonna be very purty!

How big was your girl?

congrats on your one egg.. one egg is better than no egg!! it is awesome watching movement inside the egg when candling. I was so excited watching it, tried to show everyone I could :P it just gets better as the days go by.

I candled a few times during incubation. It's amazing seeing the little guys grow! Can't wait to see what comes out of your little egger! What was the breeding that produced it?

1581 before breeding and she ate all the way until 18 days till ovulation. After she layed she was 1579 lol.

He was a super mocha and she's a pastel. I put her with my butter a couple times but didn't see them breed at all. So technically Little Egg *should* be either a mocha or a pastel mocha :)
