I was wondering about show prices today too. I havnt been to a reptile show in years. Ill be going to one in Havre De Grace, MD in a few weeks. Ill let you know what the prices of some things are. There are some good prices on Kingsnake.com. It never hurts to contact a seller and make an offer. Sometimes they might just want to move the product.

show prices are often cheaper and you have more room for negotiation at the end of the last day, however kingsnake can give you a ballpark figure of what to expect and let you know what kind of money you should bring with you

Okay can someone please tell me how much a cheap nicuagrian boa is and how much a low priced super dwarf boa is. Those are the only 2 snakes i cant seem to find on kingsnake.

    Re: Reptile show prices??
Thats because those are very expensive snakes and not a lot of people breed then look on fauna classified they may have some breeders listed

    Clearly a typo.

I've looked up super dwarf RETIC prices before, and if I remember correctly they range from $500-700... I totally want one! Show prices can vary depending on availability and location, but you can expect them to be noticeably lower - especially things like normal BPs, and at the end of the weekend. I've seen normal BPs priced at $20, spiders anywhere from $150-250, and red-tail boas are usually around $50-100.

Here are some Nicaraguan (that's how you spell it, LOL ;)) Boas on Fauna:

Normal red tail boa. ---------usually around 40 to 70 bucks

Spider ball python. --------Depends on the breeder. I got my male for 100. and female for that same price.

Albino ball python. ---------Between 400 and 500 usually. Once again it depends on the breeder.

    Nicuagrian boa. ------- Never priced

Normal super dwarf retic. ------Never seen at a show.

No, a typo would be Bao or Dwafr. Calling a python a boa is not a typo.

I saw baby Nic's for $25 at the show in NY. Saw some regular BP's go for as little as $10. I picked up a normal BCI for 60 and they had them as low as 30ish I think. You'll find A LOT of good deals, just be sure to carefully examine the snake and get the breeders contact info.

Also, I could not tell you what a dwarf retic goes for because NY cannot legally sell them I guess. But my friend has one. Fairly aggressive, he said. He was able to calm it down though. The first day it got to the point where it was tame to one hand, but would strike at the other hand if he reached near it. It still tags him every now and then though.
