Finally, Hatchling Clowns!

Well it took 7 years and a breeding loan, but I finally produced Clowns from my 2003 100% Het Clown female.

She was bred with a Clown 50% het Caramel owned by Andrew Varela of Serpentine Exotics...She laid 5 eggs, we ended up with 3.1 Clowns and a female 100% Het Clown.

This forum is terrible when it comes to feeding (or even starting) an addiction, lol. Every day I log in and see 10 or 15 more BP's I want :D Those are beauties!

Man are they beautiful. Congrats! I just had 3 of my 5 eggs from a het to het breeding go bad last night. Not much hope left for a clown this season. I bought my female at 800 grams though, so I haven't been waiting long.

Nice clowns! Congrats, and they look well worth the wait. Rich colors. My '07 female het just refused to get up to breeding weight this season. I just hope she doesn't try to pull the fasting game the rest of the year. I want some clowns too :please: !

Congratulations Jon, those look great, I guess good things really do come to those who wait. I feel your pain though, I whiffed on clowns myself for the 2nd year in a row. Oh well, maybe next year.
