What Would You Concider These?

Just curious to see what you guys think. Just an ugly spider with a dark normal sibling or is something else going on? I did not produce these but I am kinda curious what you guys think. Thanks

If those animals are from the same clutch and that is a Black Pastel Spider, then the animal on the right would have to be a Black Pastel. That animal looks more like a Het Red than a Black Pastel.

The animal on the right could also be a normal, or the clutch could be multi-sired.

Thats what I was thinking.

It was from a spider X a "normal" There were no other males along with it from my understanding. The Spider is rather dark in my opinion.

Pat, how can you say that animal in the thread and the one in the pic do not look alike?

The colors are off, pattern is close, but not quite there.

Het Reds are hard to tell, but that one just doesnt do it for me.

If anything I would put money on a SUPER low grade black pastel.

Alright, I got money on the Het Red!

I honestly do not know what they are. I guess it could go either way. I will post pics of all the siblings that have the "look" and a few better pics of the spider. If anyone wants to play with this project pm me and we can work something out :)

Post pics of the whole clutch please.

They look like Het Reds to me, hold back, and line breed.

i'd say if it was really a normal x spider, maybe the normal is a dinker

Could be a normal on the right but that spider looks an awful lot like a combo.

Spider does look like a black bee, though the blackback sibling doesn't look like a black pastel or cinny or even a het red to me.

But yeah, I'd still bet something is going on.

I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that the "normal" the spider bred was actually a low grade het red, making the spider a het red spider and the one on the right a het red....

Wasn't sure what you where talking about at the show before reading thru this thread. If those are from Gabe's 1st spider clutch there was a ringer male as well.

Yeah they are from Gabe. I tried to call him to let him know that I think he should let me breed the spider back to that female he has. Something is going on with these things just not sure what.

I own the female that birthed this clutch. Im wondering what I should pair her with since the spider will not be ready this year. Cinnamon? Mojave? Pastel? .... Any suggestions? Mind you it wont prove out if she is a 'dinker' ... but if she throws out funky looking offspring it will definitely show that something is there ......

You have any pix of her? I didn't think Gabe sold any of his girls. I heard a deal fell with someone buying a group with a rack. Best of luck with her.

Yeah I have her. He parted ways with 5 females and a rack before he moved to Florida. I got em. Heres a pic of her...

I would try mojave, out of those options.
If you had a yellowbelly, that would be ideal.

The Pic definitely doesn't do her justice. Photobucket wont allow any bigger pics, and my camera just died. Maybe more tomorrow.

Anyone in the Virginia area have a Het Red Male to try and prove this female out? Im looking for either a Het or Visual for this season. Otherwise Im just going to throw my Cinnamon with her.

You might want to contact Adam @ 8 Ball he had a couple male HRA at the last show for like $75 bucks I think.

Im going on a different approach. I see two baby snakes with an odd pattern, but the mom is reduced... If I where to put money on whats doing it, id choose the dad. I just cant see why a reduced pattern female would throw babys like that, but she is definitely not a het red, if anything.

I've seen the Dad. He is just a Spider. Im not downplaying what your saying, Im just saying that he looks like a normal dad. I understand that my female is just a 'normal' , but after this season, I will find out for sure if she has something going on with her. Her offspring should help decide that. Her upper 1/2 of her body looks more black pastel-ish to me. You cant see it in the 1 picture I've taken, so when I get some time I will take some head/belly shots for ya'll.

Ralph just posted results of his 2010 clutch 58. HRA spider look a bit different than these posted. OT clutch 59 is insane, the lesser clown is sick! I personally think it might be the enchi clown myself.

What's a green pastel? I saw someone post a pix of one froma Daytona pickup post. Looks like a cinny or black pastel. Do you know if you got spiders from both of Gabe's clutches? I wasn't sure if if mine was from the same clutch as the ones you have.

If its a green pastel, what should the pairing be? Im thinking either Mojave or Cinnamon. Those are 2 Im going for. Or my pastel. Depends on if would make a super form. Ive also never heard of green pastel with the exception of the Daytona pictures, and they look more cinny/black pastelish like X said.

I have talked to a few people and from what i have seen and heard I should breed the spider male back to the few females I have to produced the weird offspring. It's hard to say which animal made the offspring look the way they are. Time will tell.
