Pewters? Black Pastel vs Cinny
My dream morph is a pewter (I have seen so may gorgeous pewters and pewter combos) and I have been searching around for the right baby but I haven't been having much luck =/ I prefer a baby simply because that is what my budget will allow at this point... but I realize that there are different types of pewters:
Black Pastel and Cinnamon
What do you prefer? And what are the differences (or are there any big differences?)
Please post pics of your pewters so that I can live vicariously through the other members here and state whether it is a black pastel or a cinny pewter :)
Re: Pewters? Black Pastel vs Cinny
I prefer Cinnamons.. I just like their colors better.
As for which I prefer when combined with pastel.. it doesn't matter to me, they all look fantastic.

Mind that I like Black Pastels a lot more than Cinnys in general, so yeah...

Re: Pewters? Black Pastel vs Cinny
I think I am going to go with cinny, I like the lighter/cleaner look more...
Might be getting one soon waiting on a clutch to hatch :) cross your fingers for me!
Re: Pewters? Black Pastel vs Cinny
Black pastels by far...but I might be partal to them.
The silver streak vs the sterling should be enough to convince anyone on black pastels.

Re: Pewters? Black Pastel vs Cinny
I like the cinny to a pastel! Because thats what I learned when I first got into ball pythons. And black pastels look a lot like cinnamons (to me).
Re: Pewters? Black Pastel vs Cinny
Black Pastels. In my opinion they are cleaner, but the cinny's are lighter. As pointed out above, silver streaks take the cake :)

 Not all Silver Streaks are the same, just as not all Sterlings, Cinnies or Black Pastels are the same.

Thanks for posting that...I was actually about to post a link to Albey's sterling. Here's a pic of my Cinnamon Pewter from Albey

One of my Cinny Pewters...adult female at about 1000-1200 grams. I've had several people tell me there is something else going on with her, so we will hopefully prove so this year. I bred one of her offspring back to her and he's also het pied. Eggs are cooking.

Expecting Pewters, Sterlings, whatever you call the Cinny Silver Bullet if we are lucky.....and maybe some of these in the Pied morph if we are extremely lucky. There is a ton of potential in the incubator here.
