Pretty Pastel is Home and I LOVE Her!
I picked out this beautiful girl from Royal Constrictors Design (Garrick DeMeyer) several weeks ago and now she's home! She's even better in person! I cannot wait to watch her grow up. I've got big plans for her!

That's the "normal" pastel that you got which you hope will overshadow all your lemons, right? Absolutely gorgeous animal, I really hope she holds that color and cant wait to see the super from her and a lemon. :)

I hope that all future generations of my animals overshadow the generations before them, or at least that's my goal when I decide who to selectively pair them up with! :D
I've got time to decide what to breed with her, I'm thinking lesser pastels, fireflies, enchi pastels....the potential with this pretty girl is exciting!

Re: Pretty Pastel is Home and I LOVE Her!
Wow - all these replies! That just shows me that people still appreciate a nice pastel and reinforces what I believe - that selective breeding will be the future of this hobby. I hope to make MORE pastels that look like her one day! And I hope others will strive to improve the pastels that they produce too!

Thanks! Just keep your eyes open and be willing to act when you see one that you really like. You'll pay more for them than other pastels (as it should be), but they're worth it!

She's not a super pastel, she's a pastel - but she's the product of selectively breeding.

She was hatched on 5/21, so she's just a little over 2 months old. :)
