Pics to come. Gotta convince hubby to let me get him now.
Spotnose Ball Python, is what I am guessing.
Re: Interesting Baby Ball
I cant wait to see some pics.
I love dinkers :D
Re: Interesting Baby Ball
A spotnose at Petsmart? I dunno. He has two spots. one under each nostril. I looked up pictures of normals to compare and none of the pictures had the same spots so Im really really hoping he doesnt sell before I can grab him.
Re: Interesting Baby Ball
He also has what look like het pied markers (though I doubt he is. Plenty of normals have those marks). He also has a spot on his head ( a lighter patch. ) I got pics of all these markings. Won't be home for a bit though

Re: Interesting Baby Ball
From what I understand, those spots are not all that unusual in normals, and are not a sure sign of a spotnose.
At least, that's what I was told when I asked about picking out a spotnose from a normal.
My pied boy has them as well.

Re: Interesting Baby Ball
the spots under its nose mean nothing, plenty of normals get those, same thing with "het pied markers". theres several other criteria that must be met for it to be a spotnose

Wouldn't have any idea what it could be if anything. Only one way to find out. Keep it, breed it, prove it.
Good Luck!

Unless I just HAD TO HAVE it, Id pass
There seems to be a bunch of them out there.....
Re: Interesting Baby Ball
I call them booger noses - and they're just normals. Spotnose have funky head patterns - very distinctive and not often mistaken for normals. Here's one of my normals.

Well I found him interesting anyway. He is a sweetheart too. :P I'm still going to try and convince my husband to let me get him. If I don't, my friend might.
Re: Interesting Baby Ball
He's still a cutie! And, you can never have enough normal girls if it happens to turn into one :) Good Luck.
