Clutch 4 photos

I had a terrible clutch 3 and was glad to see these guys all turn out so well. I ended up with 0.1 female Epic Pastave, 1.1 Mojaves, 2.0 Pastels, and 0.2 Normals.

Tim, congrats, the pastave looks awesome.

Tim congrats. I must ask though, what made you call the Pastave an Epic and nothing else in the clutch? Do you know something I don't?:rolleyes: To me it looks like you might have one Epic Pastel and one Epic Mojave as well.

lol I know the Pastave is Epic because I saw mine as a baby lol but the others I still have to check with Baker.

Congrats on your girl Tim!!! Last time I checked in with Tom he had not yet isolated the Epic gene -- it had only presented in combination with other genes. Any Epics yet that you are aware?? Well done -- cool girl!! :gj:

Bill I do have 2 Normal females and Baker should be having a clutch hatch soon. We will check them out and see is the Epic Gene is just that a gene. You know me I will post my info first right here lol.

That's exactly right bill. There could, and thaT is the theory, that the stand alone highlight gene "epic" can be isolated......like fires, pastels....yadda yadda

I talk to tom today after I got my cinny special from him and I did a lil research on the Epic gene and it looks like to me Epic maybe a het for blue eyes too when cross with other morphs. Something fishy is up with this Epic gene. My cinny special got Blue eyes :O

The Epic gene is always there in my Crystal clutches to make crap harder to figure out! :P
I cant wait to see the "normals" from this clutch, and hopefully I have some "normals" that look the same. It would be nice to isolate the Epic gene if possible and really get some answers. I have 6 eggs from Epic Mojave to Normal and 9 eggs from Epic Mojave to Epic Mojave so hopefully we know more soon! Until then I guess its just popping out badass, sometimes weird examples of morphs in Crystal clutches!:gj:
