It never fails to fascinate me either, Patrick. Nice to hear what you sound like too!
I've always wished someone could safely put a tiny slit in an egg with a little tiny camera to watch the progress through the 52-60 days of going from a little worm to a fully formed ball python.

Ok, a ball python egg. >.o
Is it the little bit of movement in the top right of the egg? I've never heard of this "Jello Wiggler". Just fetal movement?

Neato! :gj: I saw my first "jello wiggler" last week, and it was SOOO cool!! Yesterday (day 28 of incubation) I candled them again, and actually saw a real snake-shaped outline... swear I saw his/her little nose, poking against the side of the shell. It's really neat to watch them develop, isn't it?

Watch the top of the first egg, and you'll see some definite wiggling! It is the little snake fetus, which moves around inside the egg as it develops... just like a human baby in the womb. Really neat to see in person, especially when you're a first-time breeder like myself. :)

Wow!
That is a lot of movement in that stage I think...I don't remember mine moving like that this early. Really cool, thanks for sharing!
