    Yellow Belly?
I bought this girl last year as a possible het. pied. I always thought she had a sweet pattern but never really looked at it. It looks a lot like my Yellow Bellies I produce. Any thoughts? Thanks

My opinion is yes, I would say it's a YB. Here is why I think that. The black belly tracks on a normal very rarely come all the way to the central belly scales, and almost never come to the central belly scales at the base of the brown pattern, usually only where the black meets the belly. This snake displays both. Some YB's are great examples of the morph, this one may just not be that uber example we are used to seeing.

There is one way to tell for sure. Pair a YB male with her and see what happens. Heck you should be able to tell just by breeding her to a normal, but if you get an ivory from breeding her to a YB male then there is no second guessing.

    Agreed, not a yellow belly.

This is a normal and a yb from last season.
Your snake has the same type wide side markers as the normal from my clutch.

Yeah U gave a butt ton of yellow belly ball pythons but this female looks pretty close. So I guess the question now is should I breed her to pied stuff or Yb Stuff? Thanks

she has a lot of flaming but the belly doesn't look right.
If I had her I'd probably shoot yellow belly to her, even if she doesn't prove she should make some smokin yb's

That is what I am thinking even though if i bred her to a pied I should still see yb in the pairing.... one thing that has always got me is how can you tell if a pied is a yb?

Maybe Justin has some belly shots, yellow belly piebald pics aren't too hard to find.
