    Neighborhood coyotes
I've been seeing a lot of coyotes around town lately, but I never guessed they were this close. These pics are shot out my back door. There were two cubs but one of them went back to it's den under my neighbors deck before I could get pics of both. Pretty cool if you ask me. I REALLY need to find somewhere I can take photography lessons though,

Definitely a fox. Beautiful animal, I wonder what he found on the ground!

The coyotes around here sometimes cross-breed with wolves, so they're pretty big!

Foxes love to den under porches, we had a family a few years back and they were so much fun to watch :)

They coyotes around here are pretty small, I've seen a number of adults around the area, these just had such a 'puppy like' look to them that I was wondering if they were just cubs.

I think he's licking up birdseed off the ground, he's right under the neighbors bird feeder and that's the only thing I can think of.

They came out for some better pictures, got both of them this time and I got a chance to watch them longer and got a better view of them. You're right, they are foxes.

Wow. They are so gorgeous! Most people here think they are a nuisance. I can't understand why. Sure, they might be scavengers, but they are so pretty!

I finally got a chance to talk to my neighbor about these (it's his deck) he's known about them for quite some time and tells me there are actually 6 of them under his deck, two adults and 4 pups. He says that the pups will actually come right up to his sliding glass window on the deck and sit there looking into the house. It's kind of a neat thing to see. It always puts a smile on my face to be able to see wildlife in my own backyard.

Foxes are an asset and coyotes are targets as far as I'm concerned.

If only you could get your camera to stop focusing on the trees closest to you! Haha, either way, that's still really cool. I love foxes as we had coyotes in Ft. Myers and they were dirty looking, and mean as hell. I'm sure the foxes aren't exactly nice either, but that's really cool!

Wow that is pretty cool! I think its hilarious the cubs will look in the sliding glass door and yes it is awesome to have wild life like that in your back yard.

That is so cool. Looks like you live in a beautiful area.

LOL I was thinking when looking at the first pic....wow...your coyotes have some weight to them and really bushy tails they must be really well fed in your neck of the woods compared to ours....
