:( They're all gone,...

All of my reps except for 1 baby BP died yesterday morning. . I went to pick them up from a friend of mine that was keeping them while I moved and settled in. Just to find out that the thermostat went out when I got there. Here in Vegas with triple degree weather everyday, that ain't no joke. They didn't stand a chance. Dino died in my hands,..luckily I was off and didn't have to work yesterday. I came into work today to help cope and take my mind off of it but of course,...I work in a Animal Hospital. But,..on the other hand its better than sitting in an empty house.

Idk how the BP made it, she's still a baby, you'd think she would be the first one to go. But she hung in there and made it through, seems to be doing better today but only time will tell if there was any damage done.

I'm sorry for your loss. If my snakes had been big enough and had bred for me this year (instead of next breeding season) I'd have sent you a few BPs to start rebuilding your population. Alas they did not and I have yet to breed. Sorry for your loss, good luck rebuilding your collection :(

Thanks everyone,..my little bp girl seems to be doing okay. More active today than the last couple of days but thats understandable. I'm going to try and feed her this weekend to see how she does. She has never refused food so,...we'll see.

So far the only thing I've noticed with her physically is that her tonge isn't forked any more. What would cause that,.. hopefully it wasn't that hot that it burned her tonge and it stuck together. Now that I think about it, it could have been just that hot. It was just over 102' outside when I got there and the heat tape and lamps were still on. :(

Sorry to hear that man. I'm dealing with a broken AC in Socal and we're seeing some hot temps right now also. Stressful stuff.
