Spinners or Lemon Blasts?

Which would you rather produce? My pinstripe girl is getting closer to the magical number and I can't wait till she is there and I can breed her. But I'm curious as to which is more popular. So if you had a pastel male and a spider male, and could only breed one to your pinstripe female, which would you choose?

I vote spinner blast

Out of the two, I much prefer Spinners! :)

I want both in my collection but I do prefer the Spinner and got to produce a Spinner first.

SpinnerBlast is where it's at.
I would try and sell the male Spider and male Pastel (Good luck...lol,) and purchase a male Bee to throw at her.

Given those choices though I vote LemonBlast.

However, if those were my only two options I would throw both the Spider and Pastel males at her, and have a "Who's your Daddy" clutch.

I vote lemonblast because if you rebreed back to a pastel later, the super blast is wicked. also bred back to a spider then the again the spinner blast is also very nice. But its your choice as to what snake you like better. I would throw both males in and see what you get lol, never know, you might hatch out both

If I had to choose one, it would be the lemon blast.

But I agree that breeding both to her would be a good choice if you simply cannot choose. Hey, you never know, you could hit on a multiple sure clutch! :D

I already have a spinner, and I like Lemon Blasts, but I'd rather have a combo that can produce Spiders & Pinstripes than Pinstripes & Pastels.

I thought the same question for a long time. I ended up with the spinner. She is 1176grams now.. Getting close to that magical number. Then the big choice is what do I breed her to? Lesser male? bumble bee? the choices the choices.....

i just prefer the look of a lemon blast.



It honestly depends...
Visually pleasing, id go for lemon blast.
genetic diversity, id go spinner.

i think the combos with the spinner would work out better in the long run

the spinner route is a better way to go you can produce a bigger variety of morphs going to spinner route keep back some female spinners if you produce them and breed em to your pastel and you'll see how many morphs you'll produce even lemon blast and the jewel the spinner blast.

Lemon Blast for sure just because of the super in the future. You can't get a super out of a pin or spider so your only way to go is combos in the future that you can still produce normals out of. If you get the lemon blast and make a super from it, everything you breed that to makes at least pastels and lemon blasts and no normals.

Don't have one of those....yet. I'm not getting any new ball pythons till the 2011-2012 season, so I have to use what I have. Though when I am able to get more ball pythons I'm getting an albino for sure to pair her up with to make pins het albino (I love albino pins) and a cinnamon male. :)

Throw both males in with her. If your torn its the best thing to do IMO and then hope for a split sired clutch.

I also think you should try throwing both in with her and see what comes from it, but if you are set on a single choice, I would go with the Spinner. Good luck with whatever you do.

I like Pins and Pastels :D so I voted for Lemon Blast :banana::banana::banana:

Gotta say lemon blast the sinner is real bland looking

although both are awesome looking morphs.. and I DO love the spinner pattern..

I PERSONALLY stay away from spiders or any spider combo. I do not wish to play the "wobble" game.. I had a non wobbler male... but a couple of the babies had a mild wobble.. it is a pain in the butt.. although it was very mild, it is difficult to sell.. A lot of people are not honest about wobbles, etc etc etc...

so .. I voted for the Lemon blast :D

I ended up breeding both to her. There were confirmed copulations with both males so it will be fun getting to see what pops out. She laid 5 perfect eggs and they are now on day 26 of incubation. :D

I use the spider gene. My male has a slight wobble if he gets really excited (mostly when its dinner time) but he eats well (only misses a meal if he's shedding) and breeds well. I hatched out a spider female from him this season and her wobble is much more pronounced than his but only time will tell if it gets worse or better (or stays the same). I will continue to breed for spiders and spider genes as long as the resulting offspring are not suffering.

I've got a male pin, which I'm going to breed with my female Bumblebee.... solved the dilema

I'd say lemon blast. but then again i'm not a wobbler fan

Thanks! Absolutely! I'm a picture addict!! lol! Good luck with your project too, maybe the clutch will be double sired and you'll get both!!

I'm a sucker for Spinners. Hopefully the odds will be in my favour and will hit both in my first clutch. Wish my Pastel would bulk up already! =)
