    Any ideas what this is?
This interesting little girl hatched from a Pastel X Normal clutch. I pictured her next to one of her normal siblings. The closest i can come is that it looks somewhat like a Tiger?

I would have to say pastel.

I see what you are talking about though. Maybe you stumbled on to something with this one. Keep us updated on how this one colors up.

Definitely not a pastel-notice the near total lack of blushing, either on the head or anywhere else...the markings are a uniform black.

Well, you really can't judge it based on the lack of blushing. This is one of my Pastels.

Definitely a Pastel, but she has almost no blushing or flames. Yours does have an interesting look. Hang on to it. If it doesnt begin to look like a normal in about 6 months then hang on to it for breeding to find out.

Re: Any ideas what this is?
Nope, absolutely not a pastel-I'll post pics of it next to its pastel clutchmates. It might be nothing but a very bright normal, but pastel it is not. It does remind me of both Desert and Tiger, or even Enchi.....Guess time and breeding trials will tell.

Wow she is weird!!!! Not a pastel, but very different than most normals. Huh.....

I would hold her back and breed her to dad. If it's something recessive, both mom and dad would carry it. Good luck with her!!! :gj:

Re: Any ideas what this is?
I've seen variable pastel patterns in the same clutch. I'd still say pastel, just not the same pattern as the others.

However, it's definitely nice and would make a great hold back. Breed it back to the parents if you can, maybe something will pop out.

The belly is mostly clear, just some faint speckling toward the vent. I'll definitely hold her back and breed her back to dad. Who knows, probably nothing big but time will tell....

Re: Any ideas what this is?
It looks like a Pastel with no busy pattern. Although couldn't this also be some type of form of incomplete-dominance?
