1st Clutch Ever - Out of The Egg!

Finally! This clutch was a bit of a bust, I ended up with only one good egg but I managed to get one sweet looking normal! :banana: Fingers crossed for a female.

Thanks Robin! I think regardless if its a boy or girl I'm still keeping it. :D She might be a "Who's your Daddy" hatchling, Its a toss up between my spider (locked up 18x) and Het Clown(locked up twice). Doubtful its the het clown though, if my calculations are right he was paired up with her right before Maiya(the mum) ovulated.

Hey, if you gotta get normals -- great-looking reduced-pattern ones are the way to go! :gj:

Looks like she got that pattern from her mom, no? She should be a great one to plug into morph combos!

Congrats on your very first hatchling, no matter what this one will always be VERY special and it's a hot one too, you weren't kidding about being very reduced ;)

Thanks Deb! This one is definitely a very special snake to me, which is why I've made the decision on keeping it regardless of its sex.

That IS a very nice looking normal. I hope it is a female, cause then you can throw a male clown at her in a couple years just in case. It's hard to justify proving out a possible het male IMO because you a betting a whole breeding season for one of your females on just a possibility, but with possible het females, it's not really a loss, because whatever male you throw at her can breed other girls as well.

Very True, but I'm happy regardless of its sex. I have a TON of projects and this little one would be perfect for them. ;)

Trust me, its not a spider. ;) Spiders have green eyes and a different head pattern.

really cool looking normal...I can see how the other poster thought spider as she does have allot of that pattern.....just not the color or the eyes. But wow....very awesome looking!! Hey maybe this the first "normal spider"...(normal color spider pattern)....lol....:rolleyes:
