Fishin is fishin...I could spend the day not catchin a darn thing, as long as the weather is good and I have a line in the water, aint nothin better than a day at the fishin hole!

Although...I wouldnt mind a $40,000 bass boat and well full of big ol' Walleye, ill settle for a lawn chair, cane pole and bucket O' Crappie! :D

My biggest bass of the season. Pretty big for a MN fish, state record is only 8 something, a FAR cry from the big texas/florida/california bass that you see pics of.

Big northern pike, wish I'd gotten a better pic, but self-shots with big fish are hard!

Still looking for my first musky this season. I've fished a new lake very hard this year, supposedly has BIG muskies in it (DNR netted a 53'' and a 54'', these are likely 30-45lb fish) but not a high density.. and I haven't seen sign of one yet. I'm going to hit up some old standby lakes instead now that I've relegated that particular lake to bass and pike now.

Wow nocturnal, great fish! Do hybrids regularly get that kind of size to them where you fish 'em? My grandpa down in TX fishes a lake stocked with them but they hardly ever seem to break 2lbs MAX! I don't know enough about the lake, maybe the stocking is a new practice and the fish are still young.

They've been stocking them in a Lake where I live in western PA since at least the 80s. That was the biggest one I've caught so far (11lb, 26in), but they can get bigger. We catch a lot in the 3-8 lb range.
