Repticon Atlanta - July 10 & 11

Who plans to attend from the local area? Anyone interested in meeting up Saturday and going for lunch as well?

I'll probably get a VIP ticket to get in early on Saturday.

I will not be able to make lunch. I am getting a table. Jami will be there.

VIP Admission: $12.00 - Adults, $5.00 - Children (5-12), Four and under FREE!

Saturday: 10:00am-5:00pm (VIP Entry at 9:00 am)
Sunday: 10:00am-4:00pm

VIP ticket holders for a Repticon event will gain early entry into the show at 9:00am on Saturday only. All VIP tickets are held for pickup at our VIP check-in table at the event under the name on the PayPal account used for purchase. VIP tickets are good for both show days.

Featuring reptile and amphibian breeders and wholesalers, reptile pet products and supplies, educational seminars and exhibits, and fun-filled activities for the entire family!

Repticon Atlanta will feature Native, and for the first time, Exotic Venomous Display, courtesy of Home Grown Herps and Preserve Venomous. See the spectacular collection of deadly snakes that will be slithering into the show, safely behind glass of course!

Presentations By:

Mike Dean from Exotic Kingdom will be giving a presentation focusing on various arachnids. As a breeder of these creatures, he is the man to learn from if you are into animals that even some herpers think are creepy and crawly. If you like tarantulas, scorpions, and other spiders, stop by to see them up close and personal!

Tom Brown from Under the Canopy Farms will be giving a presentation on the wonderful & wet world of captive bred tropical amphibians.

Mark Childers from Rodent & Wildlife Specialist will be giving a very informative presentation on The Wildlife of Georgia. Mark's profession is trapping and relocating unwanted wildlife. If you have a question on what to do if you have a problem with unwanted wildlife, Mark is the right person to ask!

Renowned Herp photographer Bill Love will be facilitating an interactive seminar on how to photograph herps, so bring your camera to the show! Bill Love's spectacular herp photos appear frequently in Reptiles Magazine as well as many other books and publications. So stop, camera in tow, and take opportunity to learn "hands on" from one of the best!

Door prizes sponsored by Exo-Terra will be given away several times per hour through out both days!

My wife and I are planning on attending Saturday. If she doesn't take Saturday off of work, then I will be there both days.

We'd like to - I'll likely be there all day - wearing my BP.net Staff shirt - Trey is going to have a table - Fireball Pythons - so maybe we can make that be our "check-in" table for BP.netter's. And since Trey knows most of the regulars, he can point you in our direction.

Trey - if you read this - are you good with that? If you'd like to PM me - I can give you my cell number - I just can't guarantee I'll hear it ringing with the noise in the hall.

Hey im pretty new here but Ill be coming from South GA. Will probably shop around until lunch time? is there still a BP lunch meet? lol I am pretty easy to pick out...the short asian fellow with long hair :)

Got my VIP tickets today. Wifey and my mom will be joining me. Anyone know/have any BRBs? I'd like to take advantage of the VIP and get a near first pick. Think I've made up my mind with that pic. If I can't find one for a good price, then I'm looking for a RTB male and a garbage disposal (ornata/pac-man frog).

Unless someone wants to pick little ol' me up in cartersville, I cannot attend. :(

There have been some years that there are BRB's, but I don't know specific vendors.

I have to meet Deborah and a friend of mine at IHOP over off Sugarloaf at 7 tomorrow morning - otherwise, if I wasn't already getting up at Zero Dark Thirty I'd scoop you up.

Plus, I'm squeezing in the Exotic Bird Fair in the afternoon to pick up some bird supplies, and then back to Repticon before it closes to go to dinner.

Sorry man, if I didn't already have a full car I'd be more than happy to take that trip up there to get you. If the wife and I decide to go back on Sunday, I'll send you a PM.

I will be heading up to ATL from Americus taking HW 75 so if you are on the way and need a ride, I am taking an SUV so I might be able to give you a ride. Im not sure how long I will stay up there. If you are on the way and not too far out of the way from HW 75, PM me tonight or text me 229 726 0028 and maybe we can work something out. Ill be leaving tomorrow morning around 7AM.

Being in Cartersville, Matt would be near 75, but North of the perimeter. If I'm not mistaken, Americus is south of Atlanta.

Its alright everyone, just be sure to try to make it to the GA reptile Expo in December/November ( Or when ever it is :p)! That I will make for sure, because I should have my car by then and it is not as far away. Trey and I talked just a second ago, he offered for sunday but I am going to Smyrna sometime that day and do not want to create a Hassel. I also come 60% for the people there, and everyone is going Saturday :oops: Im glad though that so many good people are here to even offer :salute:

The expo was awsome! While i was there i picked up 0.0.1 cali king 0.0.1 bananna king 0.0.1 beautiful black orange and red milksnake. Also picked up 2 sick hatchling racks. Did anyone else pick anything up?
I was wearing a dark green korn shirth with black pants, and i have long hair. Did i see or meet anyone while i was there?

Doesn't ring a bell, I was wearing a green shirt with white and blue on it and cacky shorts. I did meet Mxrider42 and aronP at the "fireball pythons" booth.

T'was an awsome show.

It was a good show! Hot, hot, hot though, but hey, it is the summer..

I was the short girl with dark glasses and long brown hair. Saturday I was wearing a blue shirt with a red and white peace sign in the corner and Sunday I was wearing a black KMFDM shirt. Had a green JurassiPet bag. :)

I picked up a female spider BP, a male pastel BP, a Chilean Rose Hair spiderling, and 1.1 Scrub Millipedes (Narceous gordanus)

GOT MY BRB!

1.0 BRB from John Wiseman
1.0 Veiled Cham (wife made this purchase and didn't get a card)

I also picked up a few hides and rats from Cider, since Mice Direct didn't bring any (should have gotten my pre-order in).

Now I'm off to make a post with pics.

Congrats on the new herps!

Yeah the show was pretty nice. Alot of nice people that took out time to talk to me and let me take pictures. I was the short little asian guy with the long hair walking around taking pictures of everything. I managed to pick up a nice pewter male BP, my first bearded dragon, and a nice little hatchling rack. Had alot of fun :)
