    BP striking everywhere
I remember when i was buying my BP, i was given a choice between what i chose and this one that kept on striking everywhere.. immediately when they pulled that aggressive snake out, he kept striking and striking, in a span of like 1 minute i think he did strike like 20 times, and had tried to strike me more than 6 times but cant reach me since this petsmart guy is holding him well.

i thought bps are suppose to be docile, how come that sick snake just wont stop striking lol

i chose the calmer one, and he seems to be really really calm up to now even if he is hungry, he just chills. but when he smell the rodent scent, that's when he starts putting out his tongue and starts crawling (not striking) and strike the rodent (not me). :D but that other crazy snake is just insane striking everywhere and anyone.

well really he shouldn't be just because he is in pet smart, just a stereotype that proves true in some cases... but yes he/she is just scared and stressed and probably underfed!

Is this the ball python that the op said you were feeding pinky mice too? If so it is likely hungry, two pinky mice are a small meal for most ball pythons.

I just checked that wasn't you at all. Sorry. They still could be hungry or insecure or both.

Well that sounds like feeding issues to me. How are you getting along now? I hope that after a few good meals yours will calm out completely. One pinky every 5 days is just plain cheap, they cost less and it would seem dollar over welfare. Not all stores are like that but there are a number who are.
