White Plains anyone?

Anyone going to the White Plains expo on the 11th?

Ill be there ...I try to get there 2 or 3 times a year..Then right to the cheesecake factory a mile down the road.

The misses and I will try to make it. I dont think we will be buying any new reptiles, but I will look and take pics :D

To OP Yes I'll be there.. not for snakes this time just for accessories...

I'm going visit friend in Florida in August and this time I'm not goin there without snake tongs this year :P

We'll be there too. It's fun to see what every one brings and to possibly leave with a new addition.

we get back from vacation the day before so we will be there, hope to meet some of you and put faces to names. not sure if i'll be picking anything up......hehehe

i'm probably gonna have to pick up some f/t feeders.. and hopefully get a nice female mojave .. and a nice female spider ..

and I'm bringing a friend who wants 2 corn snakes

and a friend who wants a nice big female normal

I started going crazy over this snake thing a couple of months ago and its really catching on to my friends.

For my friends birthday instead of getting him alcohol I got him a thermostat.. hahahahah

hope to see some familiar forum faces there.

I'll be there have to pick up another rack and a female pewter from joe Compel. Cant wait i want to get some good looking female morphs to.:banana:

Was anyone disappointed with the show? While it was ok and I was able to find something for my daughter and I can never go without bringing something home for myself, I just felt that there wasn't anywhere near as many BP's as usual. Even the vendors that normally have the bigger booths seemed smaller then last year at this time. Was it just bad timing with clutches this year? Did anyone else notice this?

It wasn't too bad. I think it was better than the last one. We picked up a Beautiful male Fire and a hot Pastel Het G-Stripe male from Brian at BHB. We also picked up 2 equally hot female balls from Colin Weaver of ECRB. A pinstripe and a Het G-Stripe. We will be posting pics later in the week.
Both Brian and Colin are great guys who produce superb animals. They also gave us some very nice deals on our purchases this weekend, which helped out alot.

I agree that the people that were their were friendly and the deals were pretty good, just seemed like the selection was a lot less then the last time I went (Sept '09). Daughter and I tried to get in to talk to Brian a few times but every time we got close, someone would push my daughter back as if she wasn't there ( she's only 5 ) and that got old kind of quick. Would expect adults to show some common courtesy for kids but I probably expect too much.

I did however, come home with a nice little Lesser male. :D

Yea I know exactly what your talking about. My wife was 10 days past due at the show (you probably saw us I'm sure) and people were bumping into her as well as our 9 year old girl. I tend not to get that kind of treatment due to the fact I'm a little bit bigger. As far as the selections. Some were better and some weren't. Last show was more high end stuff. Like triple co-dom morphs and such. THis one had a bigger selection of single gene morphs. All in all I think it was pretty nice. It was only like the 4th time we have gone. We were planing on going to the Daytona show this year but plans got changed. This was the first time we actually saw Brian (BHB) in person.

I noticed there just wasn't as much of anything as usual (aside from cresties...I thought there was more than usual), I thought it was just me being distracted since I was busy handling the dog (it was her first time with something that big and it took her awhile to settle down, then she'd get hyped up again. The joys of training.), I guess not. I saw one mojave I was in loooove with though, sigh.

I'm taking this one off and going to the show in November. It's the day after my B-day so I have the wife and kids convinced to buy me a NICE present there. ;)

I am going I am hoping to purchase my first boa:) A B day gift to myself!

Yep My day Off is Confirmed so I'll be there.. some small stuff to buy.. no animals this time..but You never Know maybe I'll find something I cant pass ?? lol

whos going to the show in November? xmas has come early for me so i will have a list of ball pythons to get. any body getting anything crazy?

I am DEFINITELY going to go on the 28th. I have been wanting to go all year but have found excuse anfter ecxuse not to make the trip. It's a holiday weekend so I will be off and am going to bring some money to hopefully pick up a female Pastel and a female Spider. I'm hoping the prices aren't outrageous though as this is my 1st expo.
What kind of bargains can I expect to find and just how many vendors are there that sell Balls? :confused:

Been to the last 2 shows.. Picked up spider male for a 100 and the last show picked up a lesser female for 300.the lesser was from BHB and he was a great guy to deal with..i would say there was over 40 stands that had great morphs.. 2 many to choose from and great prices.. i will be going to next show and will be picking up a mojave..

Goin to Pick some accessories.. Book.. and meet Wonginator in Person ;) Unfortunately cant afford right Girl for my boy now... so... I need to wait for spring :P

I'd like to get at least 1 female pastel and maybe a spider as well...not sure yet. Hopefully the prices won'y be outrageous for these morphs...

I saw couple nice 600-700g females last show for like 230-250$ I passed just because they was live eaters... and i almost bought 750g YB female for 350 passed because same reason...

I reserved the motel room for the show to make sure I'm there when the doors open. Really looking forward to this show and I'm wondering what $600 will buy me down there....That's what it looks like I'll have for spending money at this point, maybe a little more or a little less...

The wifey and I will be there vending. I can't wait to talk shop with fellow herpers all day. Our table will be on the stage too the left, so make sure you guys stop by and say hi!

Make sure you stop by and say hi. Yeah we moved up top, really happy with it. Lots of foot traffic. Just have to adjust the stage lights better this time.

yeah cant wait for that day i want to get i need red Axanthic i hope they have some a nice female blue eye lucy. clown male and a pastel het clown.

i will be there to got 700 gram cinny female im picking up from mighty morphs and a lesser female from bhb and a pastel het red. i need 2 more females so im hopping i can get something nice.
