What you see isn't always what you get
    So I bred a lesser male to a CH female..She gave me 3 egg's one infertile. On day 55+/- I clipped egg's

    Egg #1 Normal

    Egg #2 Lesser

Egg #3..:O what the hell is that thing
    http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...t/DSC_0610.jpg

    http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...t/DSC_0608.jpg

Well I called around I emailed pics to everyone I knew.. everyone told me the same thing.."WAIT TILL IT COMES OUT"

A few days later I open the bator and it has crawled out dragging it's entire yolk with it :rage::rage::rage:

So I snatched it up put it in a moist Tupperware bowl on paper and waited.

Sunday night it was looking weak and not doing so well.:(:(

Monday morning I checked.. It wasn't breathing and was limp.. Damn it died. :tears::tears::tears: I was late for work so I tossed it back in the bator I wanted some Pics before I got rid of the body.

Come home last night AFTER TELLING EVERYONE IT HAD DIED open the tub...low and behold 99.995% of all it's yolk was gone and it was moving and breathing even balling up, even peed on me..

So here she is now that she's gotten some nutrition and seems to be doing way better..It's still touch and go but I have good hopes for this one.

What I have noticed is that the runts tend to have amazing colors. This looks like a Runt Lesser. She'll be a stunner when she gets older :)

The one runt I raised was also a total brat, temperament-wise, though. She certainly has a gorgeous pattern! Hope she does well for you!

My runt seemed week and I was worried about her, but after her first shed, she gained strength on her own, and she took her first meal without any problem a few days later. I did give her a mouse crawler. :) So, if yours seems weak and shaky at first, don't worry too hard--just give her a while.

    What an amazing little baby!!

I am so glad she's doing better for you. I can't imagine going from high to low to high again like that.

By the way, if she continues to get better and you find yourself in need of a home for her, add mine to the list. ;)

She looks really pink for a lesser. Is it because she's a little malnourished? I think she's gorgeous! We need pics of the whole clutch!!
