Curse this forum!

I was NOT looking for any animals right now - I was NOT! But then someone just had to go and ask about pastels, and then someone else just HAD to post a link to Garrick DeMeyer's page, and I just HAD to click on the link to have a look-see.

And then out of all the pastels, THIS girl just popped off the page - and well.....she's all paid for now. We're going to wait a few weeks on shipping for her to get some more meals in her - and to allow this gawd-awful heat in the south to die down some.

I bought 4 Balls from Garrick in 2008, he is great to deal with, I think you will be very happy with his snakes.

I have been very good lately my last pick up was in April from Adam. Picked up a pair of Enchis at the Hamburg show from him. But it has been very very hard.

I called Garrick at the shop, and got his message that he's only there during the week, sent him a message through his website, and finally called his cell today. Persistence is the key - didn't mean to steal her out from under you! :oops:

Well in that case - you may actually get her. He said he had checked this early this a.m. and she was still available.

No, lol, it was about 10:30 this morning (central time). I think I called him around 11:30. Ha ha, that's so funny, just missed her, darn! He's got to be so exited that everyone wants this girl, he did a great job producing some killer pastels. Maybe next time! I did have my eye on the lemon blast male he has but I'm going with a black pastel from West Coast Jungle :D.

I guess I was the third person who thought about adding that gem to their collection....lol!

I want to publically thank Jessica. I did receive an e-mail from Garrick this a.m., apologizing profusely, but that someone else had beaten me with payment and asked what I'd like to do.

I actually saw that I had 2 e-mails from him - so before replying to the first one, I went on to read the second, and he said he had spoken to the person (I am presuming that it's Jessica) and that they graciously agreed to wait for him to hatch out some more pastels - some that he consistently produces pastels of that caliber from.

So, Jessica did NOT have to give her up - she was within her right to keep her, because she did pay before I did - so I want to give her my proper thanks for her graciousness.

I PM'd her and told her that I hope that he produces a pastel even MORE stunning than this girl, because she deserves it.

With the beautiful, perfect Pastel pair that you now possess, in a couple of years the top lines will be Lemon, Graziani and Robin's Nest.

No problem Robin :gj:. I have no doubt he'll produce another one. He was really great about the whole thing too.
