Re: eggs
bc u dont need a 1600 gram female to breed. 1200 grams have been done over and over again with no effects. she didnt loose much weight at all.there was a study posted on here about weights and breeding the only bad side to a smaller girl wsa the poss she may not lay and the smaller clutches

Thank you Jason. What i cant stand is when sum1 says sum dumb stuff like why did u breed her at 1200 grams. That crap pisses me off. Every1 thinks u need a huge girl to breed when you dont. I dont make my money off this. I do it because its what i love to do. And 1200 grams and up is what i breed my girls at. If someone got a problem with that they can click ignore and ignore my posts cause i dont care what any1 says. they did the study for like 10 years and with no effects on the snakes health. They lay smaller clutches and thats it. Sorry if im coming off wrong but the head injury got me all messed up and angry.

Re: eggs
I saw muddoc's(Tim Bailey) first clutch(4 eggs) of the year post.
The female lemon blast was hatched in 2008. She couldn't have been a huge monster of a ball python.
Keep your chin up buddy! And don't stay angry, even though I know it can be aggrivating.

Re: eggs
You must have anger problems to get so upset over a question. And here is my point, you bred a 1200 gram female and got 2.5 eggs. Was it worth it, or would it have been better to wait a year and get 6 eggs when she was a bit bigger? Are you going to be able to breed her next year? Some females are able to go two years in a row, some are not, so if she does not, you got 2.5 eggs over a two year span.

i dont breed for money.I breed because i enjoy the hobby. I dont care if i get 1 egg outta a 2500 gram clutch. Eggs are eggs to me wither its 6 or 2. Will i breed her next year no. But i will breed the 30 other females i have. ANd yes i have an anger problem. You smash ur face into the ground at 40 mph and almost loose ur life then tell me if u have an anger problem. Mayb i was outta line but just cause sum1 wnats to get a huge amount of eggs doesnt mean the next man does.

Re: eggs
Good luck with the eggs :)
Sorry to hear about your accident I take it was a motorcycle crash ? I've been there before and understand how your feeling ! I know many breeders who breed from 1200 grams upwards and some who will even try 900-1000 gram females, If the female is healthy and wants to breed then she will lay eggs if not you don't get any eggs simple really. You can't force them to lay I think that is what people don't see.
