New Pastels
Just got hold of this pair today had their 1st shed and eating well so hopefully they will continue giving me no trouble lol.
Got a couple of Spiders coming as well, looking forward to getting them, in 20 years keeping various snakes royals (balls) have always stayed my favorite snake to work with.
Not the best pics I am afraid, just letting these settle in for now but I think they are nice looking pastels. Will take some better pics in natural light over the weekend and stick them up.
this is the male I got

Re: New Pastels
here is a pic today outside in better light close up. These are off Graziani line if anyone was wondering although I am not one to only go for a certain line or breeder I think all the lines have great looking snakes. I just happened to get hold of these.

thanks 1st time in over 20 years of keeping snakes I have ventured into the morph world and its like going into a sweet shop as a kid and wanting everything you see lol just wish I had the spare cash to accomodate my desires lol :D I have bred Kings, Corns , Normal Balls, and Bloods so am now going to just enjoy creating my own Morph collection over the next few years snake by snake .......:snake:

Crackin pair, :D
That is a great start to your morph collection - what's next on the horizon?
I'm living vicariously as the bank is making me wait on buying anything new. :tears:

thanks Derek , well at one time I had a whole room full of snakes it was my pride and joy then son number two came along another pride and joy lol so had to whittle down to a couple of pairs of bloods and royals and sell most of my stock but am now of the mind I want to build up a collection once again this time going to do something different and work with morphs and see where it leads me lol
I am going to get a couple of spiders this year but am also looking around for something else and am not sure yet just doing my homework on them to be honest although I have a lot of knowledge on keeping snakes and their behavior I am not fully conversant on the Royal Python Morphs but hope to be at some point.
A friend of mine who runs a shop in west lothian is probably the biggest breeder in Scotland with a huge collection I will get most of my snakes from him that I dont breed myself or import them from our american friends.

Re: New Pastels
Heh,
Does he share a name with me by any chance? :D
I was thinking of contacting him at some point myself - though I'd be looking to trade rather than flat out buy if possible.
The genes I want to buy in the future are scaring me with their current price so I may have to dabble in double/ triple co-doms first for a couple of years. :(

LOL yes mate your on the money. He will trade as well if he has something to gain from it so its definately worth speaking to him I was round his house the other night picking those pastels up and was just in awe of his collection running into the hundreds lol plus he has a mice farm going on there I could still smell them on me when I got home haha.
He has some interesting projects on the go at the moment and he is hoping for a really good year, he is focusing more on the high end stuff although obviously he has to maintain his shop stuff and he supplies up and down the country so has to cater for the low end market and cheaper options.
He works from 4am till 10 or 11pm virtually everyday just to keep on top basic care of his animals I dont know how he does it to be honest.
I know what you mean by the prices it is really depressing lol hence I am gonna start with the supers and bees etc to hopefully lead to some high end stuff further down the road.
