Loose snake... one long day!!!! (long story)
This morning me and my girlfriend get up and go to my flag football tournament decided to take Charolette our female spider with us its supposed to feel life 96 degrees... so we do. We stopped at wawa(gas station) instead of me taking her in i give her to my girlfriend she sits he on the steering wheel.

I return we take off 4 min away from the field he is telling me how she had another snake of ours on the steering wheel a while back and it tried to go behind the steering column. We made it to the field just as the game starts i get out and run to the other side. I hear my name called i looked aint see her heard it again she her standing my the driver side, she let her climb behind the wheel.

so in between games i am checking i see her cant reach. I know nothin about cars but i am taking every screw i come across on the dash off. she was on top of the speedometer vents everything. so once she was on the passenger side we went to the pet store grabbed 2 mice and went home. my girlfriend spent most of her day in the hot car... As she should have...

so she goes out an checks she is hanging down just her head. her mom says cant you just grab it by the head... Now if someone grabs you by the head what would u do??? even if i did catch the head i would prolly kill her before i was able to pull her out. dropped a mouse on the floor to try to lure her out... she seemed interested but knew we were waiting so it seemed went back... i was crushed.... we went back in the house...

come back out she is on the floor behind the gas peddle same approach dropped a mouse seemed interested this time i didnt use any light she started to pull back a little so just went to the other side seen her body grabbed and pulled... glad it wasn't just her tail this time!!! im pulling not squeezing i was kinda cautious but it was all or nothin i shocked myself on somethin in the process hope she wasnt shocked also... my arm nerves feel a little weird but im just glad i got her out.. relief...

So in all from 9:30 to bout 10:30 she was stuck in the car...

    sorry so long ....

fed her her food now she is in her cage for a while!!!

I'm glad you got the snake out of the car. I don't know any thing about cars either, so don't feel bad.

Dang that seems like it was total chaos! I'd be worried out of my mind if my snake ever got lost in the car. Snakes can get in some very tight places too, which makes it even worse.

Glad you got the snake out, hope she's doing alright!:)

I'm confused on why you would bring a snake to a football game.

That, and...96 degrees? WAY too hot for a ball python. I can't even imagine how hot it might get inside a car if that's the outside temp. Very dangerous. I'm quite sure they do not appreciate sports events much, either. Not to mention the feelings of anyone there who might have had a phobia. Ophidiophobia is a common phobia, and phobias are no fun.

A well trained dog...sure, take it out with you places. A secretive nocturnal reptile? Please leave it at home.

If you have to transport it...use a snake bag or pillow case.

Glad to hear you got her out alright. I always wanna bring my snakes with me on my outtings but I know something like this would happen to me as my luck is just like this. I'd say leaving the snake home from now on is probably a good idea lol

it was only 87 degrees outside, as human over react it was supposed to to feel like it was in the 90's... so you tell me you dont exit your house with your snakes...

My snakes only leave my house if they need a vet visit or if I take photos in my back yard.

Snakes (or any reptile really) are NOT something you should be taking to a football game.

Have to agree with others - glad you got her out - but there's no reason that the snake needed to be taken to the football game. It's not like it's something that's beneficial to the snake. A shy nocturnal animal being taken out for an extended period of time during the day is just stressful for them.
