Cant find accurite thermometer/hygrometer?

Hey guys,


Any tips on where exactly i can find this? I looked in Lowes and at a couple of Wal-marts and no one seems to know what im talking about, what section of the store is it usually in?

If you can't find them local, just order them online. They are good quality and seldom have faults. Good luck.

I checked the Lowes and Home Depot near me and they both stopped carrying the wired version, they only have wireless. I did however find the wired one at Walmart in the section where the sell room A/C units, fans, etc. Just ask where their indoor/outdoor thermometers are and you should find the Accurite. No sure if it's available online, but you might want to check there, too. I think a lot of stores may be fazing them out with all the wireless technology, though.

In Walmart, it should be near the light bulbs or paint. I've heard repeatedly they can't be found on the sites for Walmart nor the hardware stores. Of course it is the internet. You could buy heat vision if you looked hard enough. I actually once saw an ebay listing for "your nose."

I think somebody from forum was selling 3 of them... check the add section... I got my from Amazon.

there was but he sold out. I would check back in Wally world as steve stated by the light bulbs and paint. You can also go on their website to see if they have them. Other than that.....google search baby!! ;)

Man if there is such a demand for these I could pick a couple up at my home depot and ship them out.

I find them at almost every home depot I go to. If I don't see them I always see a place where they are normally placed (sold out).

well there ya go...a new little side thing for ya. :P Maybe it will make up for the cost of a feeder or two?? ;)

lol perhaps. I wouldn't intend to make a profit though.

@OP - What part of CA are you from?

I found mine at the outdoor thermometer section of Walmart in Lake Forest.

That was actually my second time ever going to a walmart and my first time purchasing something there. I almost feel like I slept with the devil x_x

thanks guys! i found it at a walmart under the thermometer section ( they had tons of wireless types and only 1 wired one for 12 $ which is what everyone seems to be talking about) im from the LA area , just curious how do you guys from Socal keep your temps right? do most of you heat up the rooms or is our so cal temp just fine for ambients?
