Normal x Mojave pairing again. Odds weren't great, but we did get plenty of females. 12 Eggs: 3.6 Normals, 0.3 Mojaves. We are very pleased with these mojos. Pics and video below. Thanks for looking!

Cool video! I enjoyed watching them interact as they came out of the egg. That's neat! Congrats on a large bundle of hatchlings. They look great!

In my experience, yes it is. Keep in mind, there was 12 of them, so it was really easy to catch them doing it.

I was hesitant to include so many in the video, but considering Steven Tyler was singing, it somehow seemed appropriate. ;)

I'm so upset that I missed most of the action this time around, but the number of yawns in the video make up for it. The yawns are my favorite part....I just sit here and go "AWWWWWWW" everytime. Can't wait for the next clutch cam to start up. I want a birthday snake. :D

Yeah, we missed having you around for this one. Next one will go up on 6/21. Dave will have a cam up in about 9 days I believe.

Loved the video! I think they were trying to sing along!

Now, this might be a silly question; but do the colors on the mojos change after the first couple sheds? They look really light/pinkish to me and adult mojos seem to be really contrasting darks and yellows.

Yes, a lot of the yellow comes out after the first shed or two. These will not be as dark as a lot of mojos though. Some people prefer them darker, I prefer the lighter versions. Time will tell how these really turn out.

Okay. That's what I thought. BF's been asking me daily about it because he wants a darker one and wants to know what to look for when we decide to one and doesn't seem to understand "I don't know, ask someone else." I wonder about him sometimes. >.<
