BP's kidney's produce dry urine. It comes out in little white clumps, like the ones you are seeing.

yes if you are using aspen for substrate just take it out and the aspen in the area, if you are using papertowels or newspaper remove the liner and put a new one in. No waste that they produce will come out in full liquid form, so the white clumps are nothing to worry about.

Yeah if you are using substrate you can just spot clean the urates.
The only thing that comes out of BP's in liquid form is excess water, which will come out sometimes when they defecate or pass urates.

Those not using newspaper may not realize, but ball pythons actually pee a lot. So, yes--a lot of liquid, at least if they're well-hydrated! The white part is solid urates (another component of the urinary system), and the brown solid is the feces.

Yes they do... my adult male will wet ALL of his double layer newspaper and then some.

I would hate to see an adult female can do... But my time is coming, it's only a matter of time. :8:

When my male passes urates I may be able to leave it for a day or so... But when my females goes I have to change it immediately because she soaks the ENTIRE enclosure. Maybe she just drinks more water than he does.

They do pee a lot!! I don't even have to look in the tub to know if one of my snakes peed -- all I have to do is look at the Accurite and I know if it is giving me a reading of "HI" for humidity that I need to grab the paper towels and newspaper!!

whew! I about flipped out when I seen what looked like a normal turd in her cage this morning. I always thought the white stuff was both urates and poo.
