100 Het albino female + 100 Het Male Clown?

what will be the result of these two breeding? also what if the male was a Yellow belly? just getting into the breeding side of things. any help would be awesome.

As mentioned about....to be a little clearer on the het to het breading they each are 50 % hets...also on the yb to albino het will be possible 50 % ..

i read your 1st post wrong i gave results for 100%het albino x 100 het clown yellowbelly

LOL, its alright, I know all about genetics and for the life of me cannot understand the crap those genetic websites give you. Especially since %'s are helpful but what it comes to in the end is just proving the snakes out since its the % is for each egg and not the whole clutch.



Like K2 said he will have A clutch full of normal looking offspring that MIGHT be het for clown and albino. Throw in a YellowBelly and each egg has a 50/50 chance of being a Yellow belly 50% het Albino 50% hetClown.

That sounds like a waste of time. Alot of maybes and possibilities. Just stick with het to het or visual to het of the same morph.

I'm pretty good with genetics,lol, but the post totally confused me.

throwing a yb into the mix totally threw me off, lol.

Then asking about getting a clown or a yb threw me off too.

All good, I'm having one of those confusing days anyways :P

There is no such thing as a het. Yellow Belly. Yellow Belly is also referred to as het. Ivory.

If you breed a het. Albino to a het. Clown each egg has a 50% possibility of being 100% het. for Albino and Clown.

That breeding would be a total waste of time. If you breed a YB to a het. Albino each you would (theoretically) get:
1/2 normal 50% possible het. Albino
1/2 YB 50% het. Albino

Also a waste of time in a my opinion. I would be me an Albino male if i were you.

That would be a waste of time with a het albino to a het clown because they would all look normal and you would not know which one is het albino, het clown or het albino het clown! I would go with the yellow belly or get a het albino to mate with a het albino to get albinos(25% chance)!

i know i just copied strait from the wizard it counts codoms as hets as well, its either homo, het or wildtype

Thanks for clearing things up. I passed on both. I'm gonna take advice and look for a male het albino. Any sellers?
