    Paradox Spied or funky pied??
This animal was produced by Steve Roussis and they are his photos as well (which should be obvious to anyone knowing my lack of photography skills :D).

There were spieds in the clutch along with this guy. He'll be here shortly and hopefully he'll produce spieds for me...time will tell.

I see a spider eye ( And a Spied body) and a normal eye :O Looks like a paradox spied to me. Time will tell which sex organ it got. Did he give you a money back guarantee should it not produce spiders?

That may be a "TRUE" Paradox.. one eye is morphed while the other is normal..since Spider is "Dom" I'd have to say that for it to be a Paradox then yes the spider would hae to be in there..

    How gorgeous is he????

I'm usually not a huge fan of lots of white but the two different eyes really makes up for it!!

That would be the first spider to enter my collection! That is an awesome looking snake, and I'm usually not a high white fan either. My, my, I could only dream of getting that little beauty.

You should ask if it spins or wobbles at all. If it does then I would say its a Spied, 100%!

Either way he is an incredable animal!! Congrats x 10!

I also have to say, that if that snake were mine, I don't think there would be any other better suited name than Two-face.

Since it's probably a chimera, it isn't a spied or a pied, but is both--if it got spied testes, then it will produce spied offspring...if not, then just pieds.

    Very cool looking critter!

Wow that's really cool!!! I'd say a paradox spied as well. It has the spied body and the spied eye. Even a paradox normal couldn't mimic the spider that well.

That has to be the most incredible and unexplainable animal I have ever seen!

I cannot believe the breeder let it go, I sure couldn't.

    Very cool looking critter!

I didn't even think about the chimera possibility! One would def have to breed this little baby out and see what he produces!

Between your champaign "ringer" and this spied, I think you need to save some Awesome for the rest of us there, Mr. Green. You can't own ALL the wicked one-off snakes you know.

Re: Paradox Spied or funky pied??
I don't think everyone understands the topic.
Although the snake is obviously showing spider genetics, that does not guarantee that it will produce spiders.
If it ends up being a chimera then the genetics that are passed on may be different than the genetics showing through visibly.
    Very nice snake.
I am interested to hear what it was sold to you as. Either way, nice addition.

Sorry, I meant to respond to this thread earlier but it slipped my mind as I've been pretty busy. The snake is doing awesome and growing quickly.

The snake ended up being a female so she won't be ready to breed for some time. For some reason I assumed it was a male. When Steve showed me the snake I instantly wanted it and we realized after the fact that it was probably never sexed. He offered to take it back but I wouldn't let her go, she is here to stay.

I think it's a toss up if it will produce spieds or not. It wasn't sold to me as a spied, more of a paradox that I may get lucky with. I love paradox, ringer and unusual snakes so I'm thrilled having her even if she just takes up bin space. She does look at me like a spider with that slight head tilt. I haven't witnessed a wobble or any more "spider like" activity.

One of the coolest paradox's I've ever seen. I'd love to have a BP with 2 different color eyes!

    Keep us updated on her!

Amazing bp.:) Its like a two-faced snake, one showing the spider trait while the other half shows a normal pied head. Very interesting to watch out for as it turns into adult, as well as its outcome when bred.
