He's Here!! My new Mojo male.

First a bit of background. Back in early April, I found this amazing little Mohave baby on Fauna. I wanted him so badly, but a combination of no money and no room conspired against me, and so I reluctantly admitted defeat and tried my best to forget about him. It didn't work. I knew that a baby that stunning would not be available for long, and indeed, I didn't see another ad for him.

I continually looked at other Mojave babies, but none were as remarkable as he, and so I just kept looking.

Fast forward a month or so. An ad goes up on Fauna from the same person who had that Mojave. So I opened it up, and lo and behold, that same baby was posted right there. I couldn't believe it, not that baby, he was just too amazing not to have sold. But I emailed, and sure enough it was the same baby!

Well, I had since sold one of my balls, and so I had room, but still no money. I was grumping about it good naturedly to my 19-year old son that night while picking him up from work. And to my shock he says, "So I'll get him for you." I thought he was joking. But when he asked me the next day if I had bought him and I said no, he said, " Mom, it's almost Mother's Day, and I know how much you want that baby. Buy him." I argued for a while, but by then the whole family was at me to get him, so I decided if they all felt that way, I was going to get him!

He was paid for in short order, and arrived at 9:48 am this morning. He without further ado, here is little Okoto!

Did you buy chance purchase this mojo from Konstantin Pavlov? It looks very familiar, especially the blushing close to the tail.

Either way it's a beautiful mojo. ;)

I agree. I got a female mojo from that same clutch, and I couldn't be more pleased with her.

Great looking snake. Mojaves are one of my favorite morphs.

HaHaHa You beat me to it... Basically the same story as you and then when I was ready pavlov told me he just sold it. Funny how things happen and congratulations he is awesome. Tale blushing looks like an hour glass. very nice...

Thanks for the kind words everyone, and yes my son surprised me.

As soon as he settles in and has a chance to de-stress, I'll get some better pictures of his amazing blushing. He has "tiger-stripes" for lack of a better term.

Beautiful boy! :gj: He has similar coloring to my boy Julius, who was bred by our own Justin Kobylka... I can't wait to make BELs & hypo mojaves with him some day! What are your plans (if any) for this mojo?

He has a beautifully blushed black-back cinny girlfriend in his future. And perhaps my big mojo girl as well.

Down the line, I plan to work him into my pied projects. I think he'll bring something special to my future babies.
