Fire ringer
This Fire was produced several years back by Steve Roussis. Every Fire in the clutch was a ringer with this one probably the most extreme. I thought he was pretty neat so I purchased him. He's fathered several Fire offspring for me but no ringers.

Re: Fire ringer
I wonder if he's Het for Pied ?? Have you paired him up with anything Pied yet ??
-
Re: Fire ringer
I haven't tried it but he was from a fire x normal breeding so he doesn't have pied in him. He was a strong breeder this year and I'm getting clutches from cinnamon, pastel and normal breedings. He also bred with a Fire female so I may get super fires....we'll see.

Re: Fire ringer
That's great animal :gj: I see many people's get so exited about ringers... price they animal higher because of that... but ringers are so unpredictable... I dont know If I'll buy ringer for other that esthetically reason (Yours is looker :D) but I'll love to produce one like that someday

Re: Fire ringer
Pair him with a pied! Worst that can happen is you end up with a bunch of fires het for pied...

If I am correct, I don't think they need to ever have had any piebald in their genes. I think some ringers just carry the piebald gene.

I've produced a couple ringers from pied x het breedings but I wouldn't assume ringers carry the pied gene. I think that assumption is a stretch; however, I will probably breed my champagne ringer to a pied...

From watching and reading Ralph Davis' videos/website, I think it's the opposite. I'm not sure they carry a ringer gene, but I think pieds/het pieds are more prone to produce ringers.
Very nice fire David :)

THIS IS CORRECT, A FRIEND OF MINE HAD SOME RINGERS FROM ONE CLUTCH, AND ONE PROVED OUT TO BE 100% HET PIEBALD, AND THEY DIDNT HAD ANY PIEDS IN THEIR BLOODLINE, REMEMBER THAT THE FIRST PIEDS ARE WILDCAUGHT......:gj:, I WILL SURE GIVE IT A TRIE IF I WHERE YOU, FIRE PIEBALDS WOULD BE AWESOME BRO!......
