They are Finally here!!!

Well first of all I had a good laugh this morning as the FedEx and UPS trucks pulled up to the apartment at the same time, each getting off the truck and walking up to the same apartment # and looking at each other all confused... :rofl:

I couldn't take very good pictures as the sky is very dark because of rain clouds and I dont have a strong white light here. Also the Suriname female would not stop moving around and the male BCI seems very stressed out and scared. So I just took pictures of them in their tubs for now. I will get some updated pictures later on...

The Suriname female is very young and thin, for size reference, an adult mice would not be appropriate for her. She is very inquisitive :D

Hypo het Sharp Albino male BCI. He is a little older, he is big enough to eat an adult mouse. Here he is scared running to a corner, I gave him a hide after.

Congrats on the boas! They look great. I'm sure they will calm down after a few days, especially with hides. Do you have a girlfriend for the male BCI? Sharp sunglows would be pretty hot.

No these are my first boas, gotta train my self a bit first. I'll see where I'm at in a year. But if everything Is going good I would love to get a het female for him. I would also like a Striped Suriname male so I could have a pair. Thanks

They are both hot! Especially the BCC but you know i'm biased lol. I'm glad you finally get them. Now you will looking at them all the time. Those poor snakes.. You're going to drive them crazy :P

They are both really nice! The hypo BCI has awesome orange in his tail. They will both grow into stunner adults!
I think you'll find the BCC to be a longer thinner snake(IMO).

Fat boas die young. Be careful not to over feed. I know you did the research and all, but avoid trying to fatten them up like a ball python.

The females awesome! :P I'll trade you a peace of garden hose for her! Its a 9 foot length... It never bites and is kinda skinny but very calm and likes to be handled. :P

Well I haven't been able to feed them yet. I went to get smaller mice today to feed them and the store was all out and told me to come back Tuesday :(. I haven't order F/T since I wanted to see them in person first.

Surinam redtails are awesome! A local breeder near me has several and I have to say their markings are so high contrast that they look like they were painted on. And their tails are a very rich dark red.

Don't let us go too long between update pics on your new boas!
