Glowing Mojave Female; Before and After
My mojave female is in neon glow mode right now! I took a picture tonight of her and thought it'd be a good comparison by posting a pic of her from last September. The difference is pretty stark.
Oh yeah, she's been bred by my cinnamon - here's hoping for some savannahs.

Wow, that's a very stark difference, nice pictures.

Wow what a glow, I caught myself analyzing patterns. What a difference she looks like she goes from cinnamon to platinum
Re: Glowing Mojave Female; Before and After
Amazing and Amusing in the same time :D
Re: Glowing Mojave Female; Before and After
That really puts the "glow" into perspective. How long do they usually glow?
Re: Glowing Mojave Female; Before and After
Congrats. However, I do have a question. What is a Savannah?

I've been told Savannah is the trade name for a cinnamon mojave.

I was just wondering, since Kevin McCurly produced the first one in 2006 and called it a Minimon. I meant no offense to you, I just hate it when people rename something that was already named. That is where confusion starts.
Either way, good luck. I have wanted to make one since I saw Kevin's at Chicago in '06, but haven't had a free Cinny or Mojave these last couple years. Maybe next year.

I have seen them called Savannah's before, but I have not heard of "Minimon". Its even listed on this web site:http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/savannah-ball/ but no pictures. Can't remember where I have seen pictures before.
Either way, they are a sweet morph. And what a difference between the picts.

Very true. But at the same time, the name that the person produces it gives it doesn't always stick. It's whatever the community ends up calling it - and no offense taken. I just know I've seen this combo called savannahs several times now so that's what I was calling it. But maybe, since its not so widespread or agreed upon I'll stick with "cinnamon mojave"!
I know in the cornsnake world there is a pattern gene that was originally called granite. However, granite has become the trade name for anery bloodreds; even though the pattern gene had been called granite before hand.
Regardless, for the most part, I prefer the gene names to the trade names. Gets confusing trying to remember what all is in them!
