I need your prayers and positive vibes. My mom is dying.

Hi all,

My mother is dying and I need some positive vibes, visualizations, prayers, whatever you have or believe in.

She has cancer in her bones, breast, lungs, and lymphnodes. I do not ask you to pray that she lives as she is not going to.

Just pray for a reduction in her pain, a strong immune system and clear breathing for now.

If you need a visual, then see her in her favorite chair on the porch, having a cup of tea and watching the sunset on her ranch. Just having a moment of peace.

Bruce, I am so very sorry for this to happen. It must be extremely hard on you, I'm not sure how it feels to know about losing a family member.

When I read the title, I could not help but drop my jaw. This must be a very hard time for you, and even though I am not in any way religious nor do I pray, but I will pray for your mother.

I do hope and pray for your mother to live the rest of her time without the pain, hard of breathing, and with a very strong immune system.

Oh wow.. Thats a horrible thought. I lost my dad (my best friend) going on 3 years ago and with as close as we were, it was the worst thing thats ever happened to me. I understand how it is and knowing what you know, I just wish for the both of you, that she can be pain free and when its her time, that she just falls asleep one more time just like any other night..

I am so very sorry Bruce. You and your mother will be in my daily prayers. I would like to pass this request on to a bunch of friends that I know that will keep you and your mother in their daily prayers.

The hardest thing in life is watching a loved one die. I'm very sorry you have to go through this now. Hopefully she has lived a full wonderful life, I'm sure she has.

How old is she if you don't mind me asking?

So sorry to hear, our thoughts are with you and your mom. I can only imagine what you and family are going thru, my mom passed way at a young age suffering from diabetes so i kinda understand. positive toughts and prayers are sent you way.

I know it may sound cliche, but I do know what you are going through in a way. My Mother had cancer throughout her body as well. She was also on Dialysis and was Diabetic......... her last days were painful and I imagine your Mother is also in a similar situation. All I wanted was for her to no longer be in pain.

My heart goes out to you, your mother & your Family. I wish for her that the pain fades into the background. I wish for you that your loss when it comes is softened by memories of Love & Laughter.

For now, take advantage of EVERY moment you have with her. Share memories with her, she will smile and you will have added another sweet memory for the future.

I am so very sorry that you have had to deal with this Monster called Cancer. It is cruel and does not discriminate at all. Feel free to PM me if you need to vent, or just another soul who knows what you are going through to listen to you.

I'm so sorry man, I'm not very good at this. She had a good life and there is nothing to regret. I'm sure she will pass away very happy knowing she raised an good man.

Thanks all, my mom is 76 this year, and I am trying to get home right now.

Sometimes life works out like it should. Jerome bought a painting many years back from a friend of ours. She was between galleries, and he told her he was buying it as an investment. So she made it big... huge in fact... and after the fire she restored and touched up all the paintings in our collection that she had made, and today we sold the "investment piece" to one of her collectors.

So with that money I can make my trip home and see my mom.

My boss is giving me an extended leave from work with pay.

I am filled with sadness and loss, but am thankful that the universe is letting me go home.

Thank you for all your kind words for my mom, she does need them right now.

Bruce your a tough dude to go through what youve been through this past year man, life deals some crap soup and has quite a few what the hell moments, but keep on keepin on guy, Ill keep you all in my thoughts and prayers

My Mom died of cancer in Feb 08 so I know what a battle it can be. My aunt died in 05 and my uncle one month before my Mom all of cancer. I was with my Mom at the end and it was a relief to see her out of pain. I saw a bright light pass over her body right before she died so I know she is with God now and dancing happily in no pain and your Mom will be too. I pray for God to comfort you and your family during this time. And I pray for her pain to subside and for her to have peace in her body and mind.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the prayers and vibes and I know my mom does too.

She was back home (no more hospital care is effective), and I have my ticket to go home next monday. It was felt that she would be fine and was not critical at this point. Still lucid, still facebooking, just very limited.

She is back in the hospital today and I am feeling just sick about it. Her lungs are filling with fluid faster than they can drain it out.

Second hospital visit since I started planning my trip home. I am getting very worried that she is not going to make it. Just waiting for word from my sister today to see what the next move is.

Just a quick update.

My mom passed away on Thursday morning at 1230 AM. It was very peaceful. My sister and I were there and my niece Echo was holding her hand when she died.

I am home and am decompressing, but it was a week full of beauty and sadness.

Bruce im so sorry to hear this. Shes no longer in pain and shes made it home. She can now Rest In Paradise. Anything you need just shoot me a pm. I know how it feels to loose a family member.
