Repticon Baltimore Pics (DUW)
So went to Repticon today and had a blast. Stopped at Fat Boy's table and he was really nice. Also talked to Tim Koppenhofer of Special K Reptiles and fell in love with his 1.0 Lesser Platinum which was way out of my price range, but he still let me hold him and let my kids hold some of the others as well. I held a Tarantula. I am semi scared of spiders, so decided that if I ever had a chance to hold one, I would to help get over my fear. I had a chance, so took and though my hands were very sweaty, the owner could not even tell I was afraid! Sorry the pics aren't great and there aren't many (I kept forgetting I had the camera). Enjoy!

This little pastel was so cute, not at all shy, you could even touch his head.

I didnt really think It was that great of a show for a repticon. Still a good show and fun but the ball pythons were way over price. Picked up a nice pastel though.

Maybe there will be in the future. This is the first for MD, so they could continue to grow.

I was also a little dissapointed with the ball python selection. I did get a pretty good deal on a 09 female low/medium white pied so I can't really complain too much. Did anyone else see that HUGE high white pied female for sale? Man if I had the money.
Re: Repticon Baltimore Pics (DUW)
I don't think any show in May or June is going to have a large selection. The calendar won't lie, there aren't as many snakes available as there would be in September. The MARS show that was in Baltimore in September was a great show, they had lots of babies and many breeders (both local and out of state).
Looking at the vendors list, there didn't seem to be too many local breeders scheduled for Repticon Baltimore. With that and the lack of babies, I wouldn't think the selction would be great. I thought the show would be a great supply show, but since I didn't make the show, I don't know.
I had to get my kid back to Daytona Beach on Saturday, the wife was leaving for a conference on Sunday, plus my 15 year old is sick.
I really wanted to go to the show, but things didn't work out.
Great pictures.

yes I did for $3000,would really have to see her on some eggs to justifiy that price ;)
