Finally got my snake room.

So my bf and I have been sweating our butts off the last few months with the BP's bein in our bedroom. That has sucked cuz I love it cold, but finally we re-arranged the house and now I FINALLY have a dedicated snake room (slash guest room)!! Here's a couple pics...it's nothin fancy.

And introducing our newest addition, Bella. We bought her in shed so it's going to be fun to see what she looks like out of shed. She refuses to come out of the water bowl....she's been in there since I checked this morning =/ ... I don't think it's mites. There's nothing floating in the water bowl and I got her from someone I've bought from before. I have her QT'd and PAM'd anyway, but I'm hopin it's just cuz she's in shed or cuz she's insecure cuz she's new.

Very nice, you will be MUCH happier with them out of your bedroom. I think we all started that way. Your guests might not be so happy, depending on which guests it might be another positive for you lol. It is a great way to keep unwanteds from staying too long... :D

A friend of mine has a submarine bp. She could be a weirdo like his snake and just absolutely love the water. It's very strange :confused:

Yeah theirs nothing like waking up next to a snake. LOL Make sure the cage is latched before bed. I know this from experience.

Nice, I hope your guests like snakes or you may not be having any for awhile. Or if you are anything like me, it may not be a bad thing, depending on who the guests are.

Yeah it is, but not for long. It's just TOO small for BP eggs. I bought it online and you couldn't tell how big it was. I thought it'd at least fit a 6 qt tub, but NoOoOoO! lol.

My friend is going to buy it from me for his Bearded Dragon eggs and I have a mini fridge I'm turnin into an incubator this week! :) It'll hold six 12 qt tubs for me.
