    "Venus" Orange Ghost
My new little pickup. Was surfing kingsnake.com came across this cute little bugger. I didn't like how the seller couldn't tell me much about her. Got it from Outback parents ghost/het ghost first shed was May 12th believe Josh told me she hatched april 30th. I don't know if he was blowing smoke up my :cens0r::cens0r: he said something like she was one of a kind pure meant to refresh a breeders blood line.
She is another awesome addition to my newly started collection and hopefully will give me my ultimate goal. The Honeybee. She came in Friday opened the box up and there she was looking at us. Came right out of the tub onto the bed. Then we put her in the tank with the tub came right out and soon after that out of tank and all over us full of energy.

So here she is, correct me if i'm wrong "het orange ghost or het ghost"

I can't tell what that is, looks like a ghost in one picture, normal in the next. I think it's your camera. Did you buy it as a het ghost or a ghost? I think I read your OP wrong.

Cat knows for sure what it is though!! : Moving string!:8:

If it's listed as Orange ghost I believe it is. The top two look right for a OG, the last one just threw me off, I think it's just the camera.:)

I bought a "great eater" pastel from outback and it didnt eat for 5 or 6 months so i personally dont trust them, however i think it is an orange ghost.

...and yes i know balls can be finicky eaters.

Now Josh was alright he just didn't know much and told me so. Very honest and up front. He said he goes to "the guy" and tries to only look at the ones he has for sale. Buy the ones he thinks will sell and list them. By what he was told parents ghost/het ghost "the guy" had it as a orange ghost.

I read they get more orange over time with age. She is definitely very young as he had said. Very pretty everyone who has come look wants a ghost spider. There trying to talk me out of my piece to the honeybee LOL.

As far as yours not eating idk when they feel comfortable in there new environment they will eat. IDK this is my second and she refused on me. I tried the night I got her though. Will try tuesday i'm sure she will take. I have been keeping temps and humid perfect high humidity for personel preference. Lots of love and full of exploring prob going to lay off tuesday feed early night. There out and about in the tank by 9:30 10 waiting to come out. The male anyway she still hides behind the water bowl but watches us until I get her out.

Thanks everyone looking in on my new baby. I'm trying to get a shot of her periscoping. I know everyone likes them. She seems to like to do it off camera. Very steady she is a smooth glider not as clumsy as the male spider of mine.

If that's the same Hypo (Ghost) that was listed on King Snake, it's a Captive Hatched baby Imported from Africa...

generally they fade out with age, so wherever you saw that was probably mistaken

Yeah the cats are scared to death of the snakes. he is cautious but will take well to them. He's the killer but very lazy when he comes in. Unless the snakes would get out and outside at night. they'll be alright.

    Thanks Man
The wife is big into astrology she named her.
Taurus-God of Love for her astrology sign. Known for beauty. I thought it was cool because look up the female sex symbol's name. "Venus"

What he means is she is a NEW or DIFFERENT blood line than the current lines being worked with now. Since she is captive hatched and imported she most likely isn't related to any of the animals in the US. Hence him telling you she will "refresh" a breeders blood line.

If you are planning on breeding her to another hypo you may run into an issue finding a compatible existing hypo line. She most likely is compatible with other Orange Hypo lines but its always a possibility.

She is very pretty though, nice pick up!
