    Seriously..

For myself Im going to email news 4 on their liberal use of pictures while trying to give the public the "truth".

I like how they zoomed in on him locking the enclosures. People who aren't involved with reptiles always have this strange notion in their heads that we just let our animals roam free in our homes lol. "Aren't you scared it will strangle you"?. I get that one all the time. Or "how is it when they bite"? To which I reply I will take a hit from my 6 ft boa over a kitten any day. Kittens hurt :(

If you watch the video (the news video specifically about the big rattlesnake), the snake does not look that big at all. Definitely not burm size!

Except for the part when they said that the snakes are "known to strangle small children"... as if this is some kind of common occurrence.

They have been known to grow 17 feet *high*! Holy cow, that's insane! No wonder people people want them banned! I wouldn't want one crawling through a child's second story window! :O

I went through their site and emailed them very politely asking them to push more for facts than fear mongering, expressed to them the problems that reptile keepers as average americans face in terms of bias. of course Ive heard nothing back and didnt expect to, but it made me feel alittle better to atleast say something to them about such shoddy reporting.

Seriously! Even if my bp breaks the skin, I usually can't even find the bite mark the next day. But kitten bites & scratches get infected & painful. YUCK.

ive been bit by cats, snakes, hamsters you name it, the worst bite i eve got was a hamster, plus I've noticed the morons who are in the media telling people that they can eat small children, its ridiculous, when will people learn, hey guess what statistically you are more than likely for your family dog to turn on you than a snake.

On 1:17 I saw that boa open mouth breathe... Won't be buying from that shop LOL.

Videos like this are funny, the common people always make up some dumb reason to find snakes offensive.

LOL didja see it? I was like, "Eehh, even though I don't live there I wouldn't buy something from them." :P

I just notice things like that, from being on here it made me much more aware of sicknesses, so at the reptile sanctuary it's hard for a sick snake to get passed my eyes without me noticing something. I'm always the one to spot an RI no problem:D
