Starting the Countdown - Daytona

Well there are about 14 weeks till Daytona. I'm getting soooo excited. Anyone here going? Is there a bp.net meet up at all? What is everyone planning on getting at the show?

I'm hoping to get a charcoal male corn snake and I might end up bringing home a ball python. We shall see how much money I can save up before the show. Maybe I'm starting this countdown a little too early but I just cant help myself. I'm about to request off for those days tomorrow at work. :P

I'm waiting for the white plains expo so i have around 9 weeks to go

I'll be their! I just booked my room at the Hilton yesterday. This will be my third year going and definitely going to be one of the best.
I will be picking up some higher end ball pythons this year.

Just for fun, here is a countdown I made for daytona. The countdown is counting towards August 20th at 1 pm. I made this thing at the 220 day mark so I've been getting very anxious watching the countdown go under 100 days http://www.bored.com/makecountdowns/show.php?id=194451

Wouldn't miss it. Room is booked. Conference priced rooms are still available at the Hilton. Can't wait to see everyone again. It was a great time last year--beautiful weather, beverages were flowing, auction was great, waves were good sized, and midnight on the beach was awesome.

Oh yeah, the reptiles were good too! We saw for the first time Brock's king clown, Brian's scaleless corn, and Tom's albino iguanas--in the flesh, so to speak. Can't wait to see what's new this year. Oh yeah...don't bring cash, it's never enough anyway. And, plastic is lighter.

I definitely want to go, but I'm not sure if I will make it this year. :(

Well I just promised my husband I wouldn't buy any animals from Daytona. We have a lot of financial stuff to take care of first. (moving into our own place, watching a friend's dog while she goes to teach in another country, debt, etc) so I figured I'd do the responsible thing and just focus on the animals I already have.

But I'm still going! My friends and I are getting together soon to book the room and make travel plans.
