    Where to buy unprinted newspaper?
I've heard a lot of people say they use unprinted newspaper as substrate for their tubs. I'm looking to purchase this and was wondering where you buy it. I've checked Lowes and Home Depot and the only thing they have similar is the paper used for packing, like when you're moving. Is this what everyone is using? Thanks in advance!

That paper you are talking about is actually great stuff. Get a big roll and a paper cutter from an office supply store and you have it made :gj:

I dont know where to get the unprinted newspaper though

Awesome! Thanks so much. I'll run by Lowes and pick up some of the packing paper for now but will definitely be calling the local newspapers to see if they will sell me the end rolls. I just wanted to make sure that the packing paper was safe and basically the same as newspaper before I used it.

    I get mine at ULINE

You can also get other packing supplies there some of which make good substrates like Kraft paper or bogus paper, I've tried the Kraft paper, but it's not very absorbent. I'd like to try the bogus paper but I've got to wait until I run out of unprinted newspaper.

No particular reason other then the ink can rub off on your snake and make them look kind of dirty and smudged. This is particularily noticable on albinos and such. I think most inks these days are soy based so there aren't any health concerns that I know about.

We purchase end rolls from the local Paper, they sell it at 50 cents a 1/4 inch of paper..We've seen others want 5 bucks an end roll so that'd be too expensive..

you can also try this company for unprinted newspaper
I know that this might be a little late in the response category, but this company also carries both unprinted sheets and unprinted rolls of blank newsprint. Hope this helps.
