Ideas: What can fit in a 180g tank?
Well, I may possibly be getting a 180g tank from a friend, and I was thinking of the possibilities of what to put in there..

Any ideas? I'm open to any lizards or snakes, nothing like turtles or tortoises. Oh, and certainly not an alligator:P

Id put it on CL and use that money to stock up on rats or to put away for an emergency fund in case one of my animals got sick.

Not really a suitable floorspace for an adult tegu.

It's the right length but the depth is only 2 feet.
Any lizard or lizards really. I would say a smaller boa would also might work.
I vote on the selling it for a new reptile. haha

True, a tegu would need more room. Maybe an Ackie monitor or some thing around that, they stay much smaller.

-Lots of crested geckos would thrive in a tank of that size.

-I'm sure some leopard geckos would work well in there too.

-A red tail boa could stay in a tank like that, you would just need to modify the lid to fit the snake's needs.

-You could sell it on craigslist.com and get everything you could possibly need for a ball python, they are some cool snakes, and some of the morphs are real pretty.

There are really a lot of possibilities, think of a couple animals you like. Then go over each of their adult needs, and see what the tank would suit best. I'm sure no matter what, the lid will need to be modified to suit any animals need.

Id turn it into the ultimate beardie house! You could set it up with multiple basking ledges and big logs. Get your beardie a GF and watch them run around like crazy :)

Or if you want something a little more exotic looking, a male green basilisk or frilled lizard.
