Calling it quits for awhile.

Thing's have gotten pretty bad in my life lately, I probably won't be on for a few days. Have to sort out my head, i'm falling apart and dealing with another broken heart is something I wasn't expecting. I feel like i've been hit head on by a semi truck, I can't breathe, i'm in so much emotional pain I can't think straight.

I can't thank you all enough for the support and advice on the thread for my now ex-boyfriend, a lot of you are better friends than I have in real life. I can't wait to meet you in person.

You sound like a strong girl, and you have earned alot of respect for useing that strength to take the harder road when you knew it was the right thing to do. Youve removed yourself from a bad place alot earlier than many of us in your situation manage to.

I know it stinks to hear this but I do think you made a positive decision for you. And someday you are going to look back on this and roll your eyes and shake your head.

Last time that happened to me, I got a ride home from the nicest police officers ever. I was passed out in the greenway of Uptown in Minneapolis.. apparently :P

They really were the nicest cops ever, and I think they were quite happy I didn't puke in their car. It's like a free taxi home to the apartment.

lucky last time i got a ride from the cops it sure wasnt home. damn those 3 walls and bars arnt fun to look at for 4 hours while u get processed hahah

laura- keep your chin up & spend as much time as you can with your pets & friends. they'll comfort you more then you think. keep yourself busy so you dont have too much time to think & end up in a really deep funk, definitely dont want that. ive come out of numerous bad relationships stronger doing all this.
as for what bpelizabeth said about not looking for love & then finding that mr. right...its true. its how i hooked up with my current fiancee of almost 8 yrs.
